Well here goes nothing. Pros of living at riviera de ville apartments on Armstrong. Decent sized rooms Close to freeways, stores, and schools. Mostly quiet neighbors. Free carpet cleaning only if you sign a 1 year contract. Low deposit required. Short list, I know hah... Onto to the cons... I'll start with poor managing of apartments Manager doesn't deem to put forth much effort after she's got ya when deposit is turned in and keys are handed. Minimal amenities offered such as 2 laundry rooms... and a pool is all you have to look forward to. Laundry machines are outdated and some often break down. Poor security for old windows. Old apartment carpets feel rough and are hard to clean. Appliances also outdated. Only ventilation is a kitchen fan and open windows. During heat waves, your forced to spend out of pocket for fans and/or AC. You can now see the negatives outweigh the positives, yet management still seems to keep raising every ones rent. Everyone has their own opinion but this is what is perceived through my eyes. Happy hunting.

Not worth the rent
There's a great pool (always crowded with kids however) and its location is alright, its very close to Mesa College, so a lot of parties going on here. There's a serious cockroach infestation that isn't ever completely addressed, and the walls, doors, cabinets, and drawers are all covered in about 50 layers of paint, because they repaint every time a new tenant arrives, but don't spend/money the time to sand. I'm leaving as soon as the lease ends.
