I have lived here for over 25 years and have never wanted to move. The building has improved tremendously with a great number of renovations. The Manager works very hard and has tried to get things done as soon as possible and more security has been added like cameras and motion lights, etc. The tenants are really nice and our maintenance guy is wonderful (practically here every day).

The building is an old structure with apartments that are gradually renewed as tenants move out to extract higher rents. Nothing wrong with that, but the main structure has very old windows, doors and gates which make life for thieves extremely easy. Tenants have suffered numerous thefts both from the mail/package area and the garage. The landlord despite empty promises will not invest a single cent on improving access and security as new tenants are unaware of the risks and sign up due to the... good location, assuming incorrectly that property crime and personal safety risks are low.

Yes, our building and others in the area went through a period of time where the thieves got a hold of the Post Office Master Key that opens every Building's Call Box allowing Entry, and access to every Mailbox. Finally, the Post Office replaced the... locks and use a different Master Key. We have had no stolen mail or packages since.
Also, we have taken every precaution for Safety - providing Cameras in Doorways and Garage; A Master Building Key is needed for every Entrance to the Building; we have added Gates and Bars on windows where access is possible; we've added Motion Lights to each of the 2 Garage Gates into the Garage; the Manager suggests Safety Measures to all tenants. Crime is up everywhere and we have kept up with Security Measures. Apparently, this tenant who made the above review was not listening or understanding. Can't do much about that!
