$300 move-in fee $300 “conditional” move-in fee (this could be for credit score, DTI, or whatever they want to make up) even though the service member had a high 700 credit score and made 7X the rent. $50 “Account set-up” fee (shouldn’t that be part of the move-in fee?). Wait, there’s more…a $15 monthly limited liability waiver fee! They never mentioned needing renters insurance or any waiver fee. Since there was a new fee ever time the service member turned around, AND post housing had never... heard of them and housing staff questioned their questionable fee practices, the service member went elsewhere. If you rent from this place, who knows what other fees there will be! Maybe a move-out fee!

Rent anywhere else
Sign a lease anywhere else, if you are unfortunate enough to get stuck here get copies of everything and communicate only through email as you will need it for all your disputes, which will drag across several days as the office is almost impossible to reach by phone and emails get responses in 1-2 business days if they feel like responding. The office attempted to bill me for their clerical issues with the power bill, including late fees, requiring me to do all the leg work to not be charged.... I had to deal with the roaches crawling out all of the walls a few weeks into my lease out of my own pocket for the space to be livable, because the office couldnt be contacted for 3 days. Upon finding a new place to stay and reviewing the lease papers I was given, they failed to give me all my copies swindling another $1000 dollars for an apartment I have been vacant from for months as well as stating incorrect ammounts to be owed when I reached out prior to the end of lease and going back on their own word.
