Beautiful property, terrible customer service

The property is beautiful but while you are here, hope you don't have any questions or concerns with the front office. Everytime we had a question, from amenities to renewing our lease to late fees, they were rude and passive aggressive. I dreaded going in to the front office. The side gates are broken in this "gated community" . Our key fobs regularly don't work. Whenever this is brought up to the front office they say they'll work on it and then nothing gets done. Every other word from them is... "no". Again beautiful apartments and property, but having to deal with them has definitely ruined my time here.

Poor management

The apartment is in a nice area. Lots of stores. However , when I moved out I never received my full security deposit. I moved out in March, it is now September. Like others said previously, the management is horrible. I have had numerous encounters with the manager / supervisor stating that she will contact “accounting” and I would never hear anything back. Numerous phone calls, emails, voicemails.. still haven’t had the issue resolved. They don’t want you provide you with corporates... information. I was told that my check would be in the mail 3 months ago. I went to the leasing office in person and was told “the refund is still on its last process of finalizing”. The apartment walls are thin, it’s very windy in that area so the the walls creak and make noise . You can hear people talking clearly outside and you’d think your window is up.

I love it here!

I’ve lived here for two years and couldn’t be happier. The people in the front office and the maintenance men are all so helpful. The pool is awesome and I love my apartment.

RATS on the apartments

Beautiful apartments and community. Everything is good until you have to deal with the office staff about the RATS on my apartment. They put traps and poison but it is not enough. We have rat stool everywhere. They offered to transfer us to another apartment but we have to pay for all the expensive for that when we are not responsible for the issue. The office staff is rude and unprofessional. Living with a kid in an apartment infested with RATS is not recommended to anybody.

Don’t rent here! Real life Jekyll and Hyde

The nicest looking apartment I’ve ever lived in. However that’s where all the positives end. Despite looking dog friendly, they are anything but. Dog owners are highly scrutinized for every little detail and micromanaged by the management. They make you submit your dogs DNA so they can charge you $250 for even leaving a single nugget of dog poop that falls down inside the rocks at the poorly maintained dog park (which smells to high heaven of urine all summer, trash not taken out, k9 turf never... washed, no lighting). It only costs them $75 to test the specimens, but they completely rake their tenants over the coals. While I lived there three people got a letter saying they had found dog poop belonging to their dog 5 months previously. Some of those people didn’t even own their dogs at the time they were being charged for.

My dog caused a little damage in the apartment (chewed windowsill) which I let them know about prior to moving out. They said it would come out of my security deposit. No big deal right? Well they kept my security deposit and sent me a bill for $185 to pay for the damage (a new 1”x6” cut to fit and painted which was less than a $10 repair in any other circumstance).

As fate would have it, a person I work with rented the apartment directly after me and sent me a picture of the “repair” job they did. They sanded it down and just painted over it. You can clearly still see a chunk taken out of the windowsill. They also charged me for $2500 for new carpeting even though there was nothing wrong with it when I left ( which if they blatently lied about repairing the other damage, I have a hard time believing they did anything at all).

I have pictures and my final move out walkthrough on video. I left the apartment pristine. I’ll go to my grave with that debt.
