I have lived here for three years now. I love my little apartment. It's clean and quite. There has been, since I have lived here quite a few changes in the leasing office. But I have to admit the gals they have in there now are ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL! Krystal and Jasime I can't thank you enough. You both have been so kind and helpful. It sure a pleasure going into the office now. The complex looks to clean and smells clean as well. Thank you again for ALL YOUR HARD WORK!

Couldn't believe my eyes
I don't live here but I was visiting my friend that lives here and I don't do reviews because they are rigged BUT I was out on his balcony and I notice a nicely- dressed up lady bending down picking up all the dog poop on corner! i tried to snap a pic but she was too quick. Asked friend who was that in 113 weather picking up poop with no dog? ha said that was new manager but didn't know her name but she means bussiness and very friendly. The manager where I live would never be caught dead... picking up poop! When my lease is up, I know already where I'm moving to el cortez.

Some improvement, but still many shortcomings.
There has been a great improvement in management over the last several months. Trinity was a terrible management company. There are a lot of water shutoffs, and apartment entries for maintenance purposes. Definitely NOT high speed internet at all. I have live here for almost 3 years and have not gotten over 10Mbps of download speed for quite awhile, so I don't know where the claim of "High Speed Internet Access" comes from.
I am in my second unit here. In my first unit, I came home to a leaky... ceiling that was dripping water onto my computer bag, which was also sitting in a puddle of water for possibly several days while I was gone. Unfortunately, the lease specifically states that the complex is not responsible for any form of water damage to personal property whatsoever- fortunately none of my electronics were ruined, but that's not the point. Following that, I had to live with a bucket on my floor, catching dripping water because of many failed attempts to fix the leak over the course of several weeks. Once mold started to become visibly growing on the ceiling, they finally moved me to a new apartment.
Such a huge improvement in management over Trinity though. Lisa Bergeron with Trinity Property Management was very rude and unhelpful. She referred to my problem as a problem that I "may or may not have had in a unit that you vacated ten (10) months ago". It took 10 months, because she was mostly only attempting to contact me during hours that I specifically told her I would not be available, she would only call from a private number, and would not give me a phone number where I could reach her, even though I repeatedly asked her for a phone number where I could reach her. By the way, these were problems that I have complete photographic documentation of.
Like I said, HUGE improvement in management, but still falling short in many areas, including internet speeds from last decade.

Perfect for a new move in PHX
This place has been great to me since moving to PHX in Aug 2017. I've lived here for 10-months & it has been a very peaceful experience for my time living at The El Cortez. The building is an older building, but it has been renovated & continues to be renovated. I have had one or two minor problems regarding A/C, but in 115/120-degree weather in the middle of the summer that is not shocking. Any A/C unit is doing a lot when it's that hot in the dessert. Management has been great to me &... vice-versa, they have been helpful in any situation that has occurred & have fixed the problem quickly. Their is also a brand new pool, which is great for hot days in PHX. The people who live here are respectful and are not loud at all. I would recommend The El Cortez to a few people. Hope you everyone has a great experience like I have with The Cortez.
