My move in date the apartment had not been cleaned, yet I was told that the unit had been professionally cleaned and the property manager completed the walk through personally.
I signed the lease and picked up the keys. I entered the unit and the first thing I notice is the unit is dirty and had not been professionally cleaned. Starting with the front doors.
The ceiling fan is dirty, the cabinets were full of old food crumbs, refrigerator had not been cleaned, cabinets were not wiped off.... Just gross
There was no screen on 1 of the bedroom windows. 3 of the other screens are torn, bent and not attached to the window frame. 2 of the windows have a small crack. The washer and dryer is really dirty, doesn't fit in the same space and does not work. The thermostat is literally hanging from the wall and doesn't blow correctly.
The top of the stove is scratched, toilet seats are stained, shower tub is scratched and the paint is peeling ( but the walk through says it was resurfaced. Patio door has paint on the inside , the shower rods are loose and when you turn on the shower the whole thing feels like it's going to come off. The floor is scratched but the move in inspection says new vinyl. The walls are dirty.
The patio wall looks like someone put out their cigarette's on it.
This unit is NOT move in ready. I had to return to California and not move in on the move in date as the apartment was not move in ready. So I'm paying for an apartment that I can not move into right now. I asked for the manager to contact me and I still have not heard back.
I called the front desk to see if the apartment is ready and they said the maintenance is working on it right now but they do not know when he will be finish. I asked for a return call.. this should have been completed before I signed the lease and they took my money.
I'm extremely frustrated with the lack of communication and cleanliness of the unit. I did have some concerns because of the other complaints about the bugs but I was reassured that the prior management company did not do what they needed to do and that they too over April 2023..
An apartment should be cleaned and everything working before you list it as available. I've lost money and time and still not able to move into my apartment as "the maintenance is working on it right now" I'm beyond livid.. I’m noticing roaches in my apartments. I’ve been here less than 2 weeks

Roaches! Noisy! Dirty! Roaches!! Roaches!!!
I moved in and found roaches that night. I couldn't afford to move again so I battled the roaches (many, many) and other bugs all year. The apartments were built in the 80's, not maintained and have cracks and crevices throughout allowing insects to infiltrate. The upgrades are superficial, like putting lipstick on a pig. It's noisy with motorcycles revving constantly and loud neighbors. There is crime and the roads through the complex are filled with craters. This place is a DUMP! Stay away if... you value your money and possessions.

Poor communication
Absolutely terribly ran business. Interestingly enough, if you go into the office and express your plans to end your lease/no renew you still are required to get out the pen and paper, maybe even a sticky note would do and spell it out for them. If you don't you're getting locked into paying rent for another 2 months! Best of luck renting from this place. Let's also mention a water leak in my ceiling that they looked at, said they would address, then nothing, no further communication. They have... also been having severe water issues and had it shut off for days at a time. Tough times for the complex I suppose. Looks nice on the outside, don't been deceived.

Run away roach infestation
This place seems nice on the website but the remodels are poorly done with gaps in the floor boards and walls. It is also infested with roaches. They do send people out to spray but they still come up the drains and through the cracks in the floors. I find at least 3-4a day. Had one crawl on my shoulder while watching TV and found one on my bed. For the price you pay there should be none. I now always carry a can of raid bug spray with me no matter what. You can find much better for the price.... Can not wait for my lease to be up in 3 months

Terrible
Went in to see if any units were available . Walked into the leasing office everybody looked past me as if I were a ghost two ppl walk in after me instant greetings strike one they receive service before me strike two they lady asks can I help you I state I hope so I was wondering if you all had any units available or coming avail she looks at me for 3 seconds then says no we don’t . Mind you allll the signs outside say now leasing . Lol I simply walked out! She had absolutely no interest to... help or gather any type of information at all . Glad I dodged a bullet upfront .
