Don’t put your own health at risk!!!

If I could give a 0/5 I would!!! It’s not worth the hassle or issues to move in here!!! Water LEAKS, MOLD, ROACH infested water damage, broken appliances. Rent increases, utilities they said would be around 130.00 and mine have yet to be under 250.00 and now they want another 26.00 for a gate remote.They think finally closing the gates is going to keep the homeless from jumping the walls &still getting into the complex! They are more worried about the outside of all the buildings than... what’s going on inside the units! I have brought the issue of water running down between both bathrooms multiple times(months)& they could never find the leak! I have it on video of the water running through the hole they put in the ceiling, every time they finally make time to look at it, it’s dry! They finally got a real plumber out here and they figured out the issues, I’m hoping it was addressed to the office & have yet to do anything about it as you can hear the water run down the wall and their hack job of fixing the hole you can see where the water is hitting it! There’s so much mold between the walls it’s starting to make us sick! The paint is peeling off the tub/shower walls! My oven was broke for 2 months before they finally decided to just replace it, my kitchen sink flooded over a weekend I used all the towels I owned to try and soak up the water but it still flooded under everything and ran water into the “living room” had to get a plumber to come out and fix it since the maintenance staff here couldn’t handle it. It left everything soaked and molding under the walls/ cabinets. When I asked about it being wet and staying wet for so long I was told I had to go buy the fans to try and dry everything out the best I could. They would not supply anything. It was up to me if I thought it was needed!!! So had I not been able to get a large enough fan to dry out cabinets and walls it all would have been left to mold the. The kitchen walls are warped due to it being so wet and under the pressure of the sink. They replaced my stove finally I was able to clean under it and there’s mold under the linoleum I made sure to and take photos. I also placed my own roach ?? bait before they replaced the stove &I change out glue traps weekly. They spray and it seems to just attract more of them! I hate I have to wash my dishes before we even use them because I’ve seen the roaches in the cabinets and drawers! Lookin into what legal action I can take.

so many problems.

where to start.. Management, obnoxiously rude office manager... called me a liar to my face over her own mistake on a bill. She also sends discourteous text messages to the entire complex threatening to take away services such as the weight room becuase someone left the door open or unlocked. Air conditioner works only when they want it to work which was fine when this was a utilities included place but now they charge for utilities.. so I don't get to choose what I spend money on... if I'm... paying for utilities then I should have the option of ac all year long. Even in the winter it was over 80 degrees in my upstairs apt and I didn't turn on the heater once. laundry facilities are hit or miss on which washer MIGHT work and take your money. This place isn't good if you have a fixed income because rent keeps going up. They also double charge and I've had triple charges for things on your rent so you have to make sure every month that your bill is right before you pay it and even if something is wrong and you ask them to fix it and they take their time you WILL still be charged a late fee for not paying your bill even though it was incorrect in the first place. This will be my last year here.

The management is non existent

This new management company, Portola, is non responsive, they will leave complex wide issues unresolved for weeks at a time. The Complex is unclean and unsafe.

Don’t do it

This is a a horrible apartment to rent at. Good luck trying to get ahold of anyone! 2 months no air, water leaking from roof “which was not an emergency”, roaches, they left a huge hole in my roof for 3 days before they could patch it up. Left my apartment exposed to the attic of the building. In a 2 month span in and out of my apartment countless times, work order after work order. Caught them on camera saying they did work that they did not. Leaving me without air for another few nights.... Overall just don’t do it.
