Gateway at Silverbell Is Amazing!

I am so proud to tell friends this is where I live! Beutiful Apartment Homes, so many wonderful upgrades and literally they have thought of everything to make sure that you are not only happy and comfortable in your new home but also safe too! Every room has smoke detectors, sprinkler system, they provide fire extinguisher in every home because let's be real if you were to have a fire do you really have time to run out, locate the extinguisher, break the glass to get it out, then run back to... contend with your fire?? These are High Class Homes built with amazing features and upgrades. They are quiet, I never hear my neighbors and when I do run into them in passing all are very friendly ?? As for the people who work here, I would have to write a book on how kind and caring they all are! If you're thinking of moving then certainly make this home ?? You will love it! And no, I don't work here, don't work for the company and have no relation to anyone here, just a really happy resident who loves they're home.

Disappointing from a brand new luxury build.

I was expecting more from this complex with it being a brand new build. I feel like there aren’t a ton of new apartments on this side of Tucson and even fewer luxury apartments. This was a chance for this place to really shine. This place is disappointing and lack luster.

Some of the pros are the floorplans are very open and makes sense for the most part. There is plenty of guest parking/unreserved parking. This is in a really safe area. Ceiling fans in the bedroom and living room. Granite...
countertops and white cabinetry look really nice. The Internet router is built into the unit, Xfinity or fiber.

The cons of this place is many.

First this is a luxury apartment, however, you can’t have blinds. Every apartment comes with light filtering window shades. The measurements for the shades are not correct so they do not sit flush against the window. This means that the light filtering is terrible and at night people can see into your home. The bedrooms do come with a blackout shade but since it doesn’t sit flush with the window, light comes streaming in. I will point out that the shades hung in the office and gym are the correct size and sit flush with the window. Why the paying residents couldn’t have the same amenity I will never understand.

The amenities pale in comparison to other luxury apartments in the area. The gym is small with cheap equipment and all white walls. The clubhouse isn’t much of a clubhouse and more of just an extension of the office. I think there is supposed to be a dog park once construction is done. The pool is not heated yet and is very cold.

The apartments themselves have a few issues. The walls are thin, which again is shocking from a brand new luxury apartment. You can easily hear your neighbors walking above you and conversations in neighboring units. My personal favorite is you can hear their shower running from the water hitting the shower floor. The appliances are very cheap. The dishwasher is plastic and loud. There are no dimmable lights which are very common in luxury communities. None of the models have a pantry in the kitchen. The place just feels very cheaply built.

The apartment staff doesn’t really appear to care and there hasn’t been much engagement with the community. Updates on the construction and new buildings opening should be celebrated but instead we are greeted with silence.
