I lived at Creekside Meadows for one year. Day to day living, they are ok, but when they owe you money or at least you think they owe you.money, they will ignore inquiries. They did not want to give me my $300 for a referral and only did after I wrote a polite, yet assertive letter with the facts and they knew I was serious. After move out, I forgot to change electric, but after discovering the error, they refused to even call SDGE to get change responsibility and numerous emails and voice... messages are ignored at their corporate location.

Great place to live!
Just moved in last month. The entire staff has been amazing and friendly. Sandra and Hollis in the office have been helpful with everything and made this move a breeze! My apartment is really nice (brand new remodel style), Quartz counter-tops, Espresso Cabinets, and new appliances. The place is also really dog friendly and there are tons of grass areas all over the property. Really happy with our choice!

Unresponsive pertaining to deposit inquiry after lease.
I wish I could write a good review for this complex. However, due to the handling of our deposit and the unresponsive management, I'm afraid I need to warn others of the shady business practices that go on here. At the beginning of our lease we were charged a $1300 deposit based on our credit, no problem here, completely understood. At the end of our one year lease, the unit was inspected and we were informed of a possible full-paint charge if the total work needed exceeded a 2 hour time... limit. We patched all the holes from nails and pushpins and were assured by our inspector that it would resolve the issue and not require a full paint. We were charged for a full paint job of $148.63 regardless. On the invoice the charge is defined as a "Remodel Full Paint"
Another problem from the return on our deposit included a replacement of the carpet and a charge of $371.42 on the remainder of the life of the carpet we used. These charges were different amounts. The life of the carpet that we were charged for was ~$30.00 more than the charge on the invoice for what the replacement cost, which was $342.56.
Finally, the most suspicious article in our return of deposit involved the carpet in the living room. As it turns out, it was not replaced to it's original condition. Instead, vinyl flooring was installed after our term ended. It is understood that the deposit is to insure the unit be returned in the original condition that we started our lease with, and does not make us partially responsible for a remodel. If the carpet was going to be replaced anyway for a remodel, why are we paying for remaining life of the carpet we used? There was no intention of keeping the carpet. This charge makes no sense, only to deduct from company costs on a remodel of the unit, and if that isn't illegal, it is certainly unethical.
It was a nice experience living here otherwise, but the fact that we are missing out on $520.05 of our deposit to help the company pay for a remodel sticks out too far to merit any rating above a single star. As a warning to any future tenants, take lots of pictures of your unit before moving in and after moving out.
