Let me just start by saying this place is was amazing! Close to everything, beautiful, quiet (mostly), well-kept community. Living here was my first time living on my own and I can say I loved every minute of it. Gorgeous 2 bed room unit, natural lighting, high ceilings, Island countertops, this place had it all. Gorgeous clubhouse with a gym! Everything! Management was very polite and helpful always. Every week they had food trucks outside the community to eat from. I know the place looks... pricey (AND IT IS) but you definitely get what you pay for when living here. I’m going to be helpful and say that there are a lot of fees on top of rent they charge for but I’d say it’s worth moving here if it’s within your price range. I had the occasional appliance issues (dryer and dishwasher in my unit was hot garbage) but it’s something that can be fixed if the maintenance team cares. All in all I’d say my experience living here was great. PICTURES DO THIS PLACE NO JUSTICE. I spent 2 years living in this community and I miss it everyday even though it was expensive. However, I’d move back in a heartbeat. Give this place a shot!

I Love This Place!
Let me start by saying, apartment living is exactly that and no place is perfect. My family and I have lived here for a-little over 2 years now. Our three bedroom is the size of a house. Seriously it is! The staff has been great. You can tell they really care. The amenities are just great. I love the weekly food trucks. Even the residents events. The new and responsive security company has made a huge improvement. And in my opinion, parking is only an issue because guests park for days at a... time. All in all, we have been very pleased!

TLDR: Management sucks, and so does the quality of their units.
This property looks nice from the outside, but it’s a facade. When moving into this location, the unit was filthy (covered in black dust) and infested by spiders. Their solution was to vacuum it, and that is it. Eventually, we were able to get the exterminator to help with the spiders, but it should have been done before the unit was rented.
Everything about the management is concerned with nothing more than making money from its residents, which is noticeable when you look at the quality of... construction. You can hear every little noise from your neighbors (above, besides, and even below you), so God forbid you have children that want to LIVE in their home.
On the topic of children, or pets, don't expect ANY of your security deposit back as the quality of everything within the apartment is also substandard. The walls, paint, flooring, doors, and utilities are extremely cheap and fall apart at the first interaction with anything that doesn't consider how their actions might damage the surroundings - like kids and dogs. Also, if you are on the receiving end of a noise complaint, expect to be aggressively accused of being wrong without any effort to ascertain the actual situation... There is no consideration for their residents.
Regarding management, it's safe to say that customer service is not a priority. Expect new, random policies that introduce additional fees or increases in rent, and do not for a second think that anything agreed upon at the time you sign a lease will be honored by management. Over the course of two years, my monthly payment has increased by about $700 a month. These policy changes all come under the guise of "New Management".
Lastly, this location is NOT SAFE, despite being in the middle of Otay Ranch. There is a drug presence here, regardless of the time of day. Evidence is prevalent at all hours of the day, and due to the poor quality of construction, expect any smells to leak into your home regardless of how many windows/doors you close. There is also a problem with theft. There have been several thefts of vehicles from the premises which have received zero response other than platitudes from management. There supposedly is roving security on the premises, but their presence/impact is barely noticeable.
It would be easy to keep listing the problems with this location, but if you've made it this far and none of what is mentioned above sways you, then there is nothing else that will. Good luck.

DO NOT live here!
Building quality has no guarantee! There are unfinished rugs nails standing in the carpet and we took at least 3 weeks to find and hammer each of them down. (All bedrooms are carpet covered) Called maintenance a few times because the carpet will come off because the nails are installed properly.
Moved in with only hot water available in the kitchen sink, walls and floors have huge gap which allowed ANTS to come into every gap. So the entire apartment is filled with ants. Called maintenance and... they only offer pest control, which did no use because new pests can still come in from the GAPS!!

Do Not live here!
This apartment has been an absolute nightmare. I moved into a brand new apartment and the washer and dishwasher both didn’t work. It took almost a week to get my washer fixed. A few months of living here my AC went out because the tray was installed incorrectly. The price is not worth the quality of the apartment. The office is rarely open and they don’t answer messages left over the phone.
