I lived here for 2 years, 2 year lease. Very old apartment complex, the washer dryer-oven-dishwasher barely works, AC will not cover the full apartment even if you leave it on for a day, and is really loud and smelly, there is a roach/ ant problem, once they charged me my rent twice in one month and i had to do all the work to get it resolved and get my money back, the maintenance folks will enter your apartment without your permission, happened to me twice, move out process... is horrible, they WILL take your full deposit and charge you more. The leasing office are worthless, they will tell you to call their headoffice for any issues and the head office will tell you to call the leasing office. DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. Go somewhere else.

Roach problem
I lived here for a year. Worst year of my life. Location is great, & the apartment set-up was nice/spacious. However, neither of those could make up for the roaches. The day I moved in we found a dead one in the bathroom & the person doing the walk-through tried to play it off for a “water bug” saying we’d find the occasional water bug here & there. LIES! We had at least 1 huge roach almost daily. I requested pest control often, and towards the end of my lease Orkin was there weekly. Even the... Orkin guy said he was confused because my apartment was spotless. So I thought maybe I just got the unlucky roach infested building, until one day I ordered an Uber & my Uber driver lived there as well. He ends up telling me he’s moving from Eaves because he has a roach problem....his building was on the other side of the property. So it wasn’t just my building. If you can handle roaches, it’s a great place to live otherwise.

Poor Apartment Choice
Today I received a check for $68 of my $1200 deposit. We moved from out of state to ESC and what a downgrade for our money. Im disgusted just writing this but there were and probably still are Cockroach Nymps living in the carpet. My SIL is an entomologist and after sending her the pictures of small bugs I found in my carpet she responded immediately that they were cockroach nymps. All in all we found over 30 that we’re visible on the carpet, lord knows how many underneath. I kept an ongoing... email chain with the office and maintenance regarding the “issue”. They sent Orkin every Tuesday which sound nice until you realize it’s because there’s a bug problem. After crying daily, I begged the office for a solution and they came up with a $500 relocation to another apartment at my expense. How nice! They eventually called in a specialist who “didn’t see a single bug” how convenient! The Orkin man stopped coming after the specialist said there was nothing... let’s not forget I had to relocate my cat for each visit totaling over $100 but they reimbursed me $20.Basically we ended up vacuuming daily and treating the apartment with pet friendly products until the day we moved. Not ideal. The apartments were painted shortly after we moved in. They left the edges of our door unpainted? Then they replaced the deck boards without painting it. Our neighbors were always smoking on their balconies meaning we always smelt smoke in our apartment. The gym is absolutely disgusting. I’d wipe the machine before and after use if I were you. Our apartment was inspected 2 weeks prior to move out and then again after we moved out. The initial inspection they told us to just get the carpets cleaned and we’d be golden. Now I’ve received over $1000 in repair costs?

Ridiculous Fees at Move Out
I don't like this complex for a few reasons. Specifically the disgusting roach problem but also the ridiculously expensive Bill you get upon move out. I tried contesting this with no one returning my call or replying to my emails and then one day someone calls me to tell me the charges have been validated and we owe $700 extra over our deposit. I did not have the chance to contest or get more information on these charges. The lady tells me that if we don't pay it will go to collections.... COLLECTIONS?! I've been trying to contest this for almost two weeks with no one getting back to me, good thing I have documented everything. Debating my next step of action, but recommend to not move here, it's not worth it.

Shaddy Move Out Process
**Updated Review!!!**
While I enjoyed living here, the move out has been a nightmare. Upon move out I was told I would be charged $125 for carpet cleaning before I even ha the opportunity to clean the carpet. I was given this paper weeks before my move out. There was no walk through with me being present and it was not done when I turned in my keys. I was told that there could be extra charges once they do a walk through.
I did not clean the carpet since I was being charged for the cleaning... but I did higher a cleaning device to clean the rest of the apartment.
Ready for this?! I was charged over $1,000 for the replacement for the carpet! I moved in with carpet that smelled like smoke and it was not NEW! So I get charged for a full replacement of new carpet.
When I called the front office to get an itemized report, because I was originally told I owed the money but not why...... the girl Katie was incredibly rude and didn't not return my call as she said she would.
While I enjoyed living here.... I do not recommend moving in here because even though you leave the place in good condition you get charged for them to replace the carpet that wasn't new when you moved in.
