Don't live here.

Lived here for a little over a year and would never rent at an apartment managed by FPI Management again. We had issues with lies in our lease, appliances, pests (cockroaches, ew), noise, door seals, exterior lighting, parking and safety... just to name a few. I wouldn't recommend leasing from here or any of FPI Management's properties. When we finally opted to leave they told us we need to pay out to the end of our lease even though they were unable to remedy the issues. Would never... recommend to anyone

Renter Beware

This complex recently changed ownership (2015). We were happy to call this home for four years but will be leaving when our lease expires. The new owners immediately fired an awesome maintenance guy and a personable property manager. The new owners proceeded to remodel but have chosen cheap installation labor and low quality appliances. We have filed numerous maintenance requests for the same issues with no resolution. This was a quiet family oriented complex but who knows since there will... be a nearly complete turn over in tenants since the new owners took over. We asked for an additional 5 days after our lease expired and were told it would be no problem but with only two weeks left were told that without a written note we would be required to vacate on the 31st. Get everything thing in writing- their word is worthless. The current office staff are operating without a clue - they will talk and talk but when a decision is needed they immediately say their hands are tied and when pressed will give you a number to the 'supervisor' who never returns calls. Save yourself some headaches (and likely some money). Rent elsewhere, this place is over priced and a long bus or bike ride from UCD or anything downtown. One star is way to generous but apartments.com won't let me give less.

Downhill quick

Apartment complex is under new ownership. The new owners are all about their bottom line and don't care about their tenants or their staff. They recently came in and "renovated" the kitchen and bathrooms, taking away more than 50% of storage space(cabinets) in the entire apartment. They are raising rent price by 13.3% this year with a planned raise of 11% with very minimal upgrades to complex amenities and services. A new 45 dollar per month water usage fee popped up on this year's lease, yet... they recently blocked of all on property outdoor spigots so it's impossible to wash your car or anything else. The on site property manager is a bit of and air head but I believe he means well. He can be a bit long winded though. The gym is pretty nice. The pool is very small though the hot tub is nice. The community is quiet and very family oriented. All the neighbors are great people. The maintenance man Dan is great. He knows what he is doing and gets things done quick and correct the first time! Each unit has a washer and dryer in the unit on the balcony area. Each apartment also has an attached garage(1 or 2 cats depending on the apartment). The complex is a block away from Target. Nugget is just across the i-80 over pass. It takes less than 3 min to get to the freeway. There is a UniTrans/YoloBusbus stop right outside the complex. Unlimited surplus parking for yourself or guests.
