Mail constantly stolen, paid parking is always taken, weed smell 24/7
It has been around 6 months since we moved in, and here are some reason why you shouldn't move in:
- Our mail has been continuously been stolen. From Amazon, UPS, USPS, you name it. Someone comes with a family (I've physically seen it before), and they take ALL the packages and shove them in their car. They ran off before my neighbor and I were able to do anything.
- We pay an additional $150 for an extra parking space. Someone continuously parks in our PAID parking space and parking security... refuses to tow them or ticket them. We end up parking on a more inconvenient floor, and now with them charging $3 per HOUR to park in guest parking, we are no longer able to park our extra car if needed.
- There is a constant weed smell throughout the apartment and it leeks through our air vents. We turn on the AC to stop the smell, because it gets worse if we open the window.
- People throw parties well past 12am in the community room and it echoes throughout the complex.
- The parking gate is broken around 40% of the time.

Eh
As a resident of this property I am deeply disappointed by the recent decision to charge residents and guests an exorbitant $3 per hour for parking, all to accommodate a restaurant. This move not only feels like a slap in the face to loyal residents but also showcases a blatant disregard for our convenience and financial well-being. the introduction of parking fees to accommodate a restaurant is a shortsighted and deeply unpopular move. It not only burdens residents financially but also... undermines the sense of community and belonging that should be fostered within our apartment complex. Management must reconsider this ill-conceived policy and prioritize the well-being of its residents above all else. I would reconsider moving to this property.

Not Safe
I was a new SpaceX employee that moved into the building under the original management in 2021. My experience took a turn halfway through my one year lease.
New management slashed the security team in the parking garage, leading to an uptick in vehicle break-ins and theft. My bike, locked to a rack, was stolen from the locked-door storage underneath the parking structure.
The pool is frigid, so it is rarely used, and when the hot tub is not full of dirt that the wind blows in off of Crenshaw... Blvd., its water filter is broken, turning the tub green.
If you wish to live here, check your bills frequently and carefully. The new ownership is careless about billing, and getting unjust charges removed is like pulling teeth.
Here is the worst part. My lease terms guaranteed me 1 month of rent free, and when I realized I had been charged for all 12 months, the new management acknowledged the mistake and refused to refund me, to my face. A $2,000 gut punch is not something to take lightly.
This place has a nice workout facility and is close to SpaceX, but please reach out to your SpaceX network to find better housing options.

Property Manager is Condescending, Disrespectful, and Dishonest
A new property manager who took over in Dec 2021 has led to the decline of this property. I work at SpaceX like a lot of other tenants. I have found her to be condescending and disrespectful to my guests. She also has made, but broken promises. She threatens tenants with lawyers instead of fully understanding the issue or working with them.

24hr noise, horrible management team
1. Crazy crazy noise 24hrs. “Amazon warehouse” make crazy noise 24 hours! Drivers are honk each other for cheering (irregular and continuous) and Amazon hub loading and unloading for 24hours!! At least freeway store/ retail store calm down in midnight but amazon works 24 hours. Besides all the TRAIN noise, AIRPORT noise ..etc. but amazon warehouse noise is something i never experienced in my life. I lived in downtown LA, west LA before. This is a noise i never experienced.
2. HORRIBLE New... MANAGEMENT They may reject your check anytime and ask for money order for more than 6 month. 3rd party billing compnay refused my check suddenly (proved that i had enough fund, proved my document is correct) and even if i proved i didnt made this issue, they just require money order without advance notice. Property management asked me to reach through their email so i sent several emails, didnt receive any replies and just keep forcing me follow their rules.
3. Dirty trashcan room. Used to do valet trash service ( charging $30 for regular trash service) and lock the trash entrace so trashed were just piled up in trashroom. Still very dirty.
4. Lots of extra fees you may not thought about. Sharing expense of 1 of the month. Service fee $4.50, pest control fee $2.00 (brand new building often dont need pest control fee), trash$30, sewer $0.55, hot water $8.95, water heating $12.00
