This review is in regards to my stay at Axiom Westwood through Premier Student Housing. My experience in this apartment has not been satisfactory. The unit was advertised to include cable and a shuttle service. However, after moving in, I was informed cable was no longer included. The shuttle service was impossible to get into contact with, and was never able to utilize it. When I first moved into the unit, it was not well maintained. Cabinet faces were falling off, stained carpets, the medicine... cabinets were unhinged, the bathtub was dirty and cracked, and mold on the bathroom wall. These issues were brought to the attention of Premier Student Housing and Axiom Westwood right after move-in. Countless emails were ignored about these issues, and communication was poor from management. The mold issues took months to resolve, with multiple maintenance crews coming out and doing less than satisfactory results. The other issues listed above were never resolved over the whole year I lived in this unit. I highly recommend not living here.

Adjacent to the university
Reasonably responsive management, and a clean apartment. A bit too expensive but I guess that's what you expect being right next to UCLA. Still, pretty satisfied.

Stay away
Stay. Away. [from all Axiom Westwood properties and Cirrus Management...]
Decent apartment building, but very old with a ton of issues. I'm sure plenty of people have had okay experiences here, but heaven forbid, if you experience ANY issue (especially if you live on the 1st floor), good luck dealing with their management company (Cirrus Management). I have had an absolute awful experience during my 4 years in this apartment building. Only reason I stayed this long was due to rent control... .
During my stay, I've experienced (none of which were compensated for by the management company): 1.) The bathtub overflooding and damaging my hallway carpet due to plumbing issues in the basement (yes, this was sewage backup) 2.) The kitchen sink (and dishwasher) backed up twice and overflooded. One time of which it flooded my entire living room carpet. Had to live in the apartment during finals week with industrial fans blasting for 72 hours straight. 3.) Water leaking through bathroom ceiling fan 4.) And yet another water leak that began on 12/8/2017 (and has been on-going for 97 days as of this writing). This issue was only painted/plastered over but not fixed. It leaks daily every time one of the apartments above us showers....
Among dozens of other issues....
Its not worth it. The management company is not prompt, their maintenance staff is not large enough to deal with this aging infrastructure, and their plumbing needs to be completely re-done.
UCLA STUDENTS: Remember you have legal rights, and UCLA provides super cheap legal services. If a landlord is screwing you over, don't be shy. Don't be afraid to reach out to UCLA legal services.

This apartment has...
...a convenient walk to UCLA & Westwood village. It also has a nice pool/community area.
