How Is This Rating Determined?

Unresponsive Management

Management is pretty much non-responsive to their online maintenance portal. They will change a ticket to completed when nothing's been done about the issue. There are bushes harboring thousands of spiders in the parking lot and front common areas. They should trim or cut those bushes down which are infested with spiders. Gross!

New management sucks

There's been a new management company "FPI Management" that recently took over this complex, and they are trash to say the least. They got rid of our onsite manager (who was great), it's actually literally impossible to get a hold of anyone in the office, our intercom system has not been working for months (which is constantly causing failed package deliveries) and they still have yet to even respond to my request about it. And the best part is that they've been trying to raise our rents on top... of all this!

Also the walls are paper thin. Structural integrity is so weak that you can hear your _downstairs_ neighbors walking.

Only redeeming factor is that the residents here are friendly.

Great apartments in a convenient neighborhood

PROS:
- Great location near 405 and 10 freeways and Culver City/Venice/Marina Del Rey
- Huge walk-in closets
- Gated parking
- Gas and electricity included
- Neighbors are quiet and respectful
- 2 washers and 2 dryers on premises
- Apartment managers are pretty easy to deal with and most maintenance issues are taken care of promptly

CONS:
- Small kitchen (but I don't cook anyway!)
- No air conditioning
- No overhead lighting (so get lots of lamps)
