Multiple break-ins happen in the garage and building management doesn't do anything
I lived here for a little more than two years. My car got broken into three times, and neither the building manager nor the landlord did anything to make the building safer.
The first time it happened my garage door opener was stolen and things were moved around in my car. The landlord tried to tell me that it was my fault for not locking my car (it locks automatically after 2 minutes so even if I didn't, the car was not unlocked for long). She then proceeded to lie to me and say that she... looked at the CCTV, which she didn't.
The second time it happened, she tried to pull that again but I got angry and told her to send me the footage. Finally she admitted that someone broke in. I called the property management company who did nothing but make excuses and refuse to even change the clicker to make it so that the thieves that stole the garage door opener couldn't continue to use it.
The third time it happened I put in my notice. Do not move here. The landlord is a liar, the property management company is negligent, and you won't be safe.
