4+ year tenant-- would not recommend

The location and the space is not bad.

However, the facilities are not well-kept. The smell from the garbage disposal permeates the whole hallway, especially in the summer and I've found blood/trash on the floor of the elevator on a few occasions. Any communication with management has been mostly unhelpful, and getting anything fixed in the apartment has been like pulling teeth.

The management still has little consideration for their tenants; multiple occasions, when a neighboring unit is...
getting renovated, I will get no warning ahead of time. Since I work from home, weeks of construction noise was very disruptive-- much less, unannounced. The water was also shut off unexpectedly without any notice, which has grounds of legal recourse.

Unfortunately, even after being a 4+ year tenant (have always payed rent on time, no property damage, no noise complaints), I will most likely have my deposit with-held.

PROS

Location : it is right in the heart of Koreatown, streets are wide, good amount of street parking, pretty safe :) close to Ralphs, Vons, Larchmont area. accessible to public transportation and freeway (101, 110)

Apartment review : apartments are well maintained, we stayed in 1 bedroom apartment for almost 5 years and it is decent, a lot of space. you have an option if you want wood or carpet flooring. There is a central AC or box type.Then after 5 years, we moved to 2 bedroom with 2...
baths, Central ac's , with 3 parking lot(gated and covered) with security guard at night. Out master's bedroom is huge for an apartment and so is the 2nd bedroom. Our living room is pretty big as well considering that we had friends over a couple of times and there were about 10-15 people at home then. We also have a walk in closet in the master's bedroom :)

Amenities : Swimming pool and Gym
Neighborhood : family oriented and working professionals


Cons :
pricey! for the price of the apartment - it is like you are paying a mortgage rate already!
