Urban / poshy building, very nice
The place is very nice, never dirty. Everything is well maintained and pleasing to look at despite being on a busy street. Ivonne helped me out, and she's pretty quick to get back to me with a solution for anything that comes up. Many nearby shops make it worth living there, a lovely area to walk around.

Larchmont Lofts: No wonder why this place is almost EMPTY
I recently had the unfortunate experience of living in Larchmont Lofts, and I cannot emphasize enough how appalling my time there has been. From the moment we moved in, it became clear that this place was a breeding ground for negligence, unresponsiveness, and a total lack of maintenance.
It seemed as though the pipes in this building had not seen a plumber's touch in decades. Every time I attempted to use the bathroom or kitchen sink, I was greeted with a slow-draining mess. The tenants... recently got an email from maintenance, saying that they are getting many requests about plumbing issues (Hello! you give no maintenance to your building and expect us to have no issues?) and that they will be charging the tenants for the jobs, calling it "negligence on the tenant's end". If they are getting maintenance requests from everyone, I believe the problem is much bigger than one negligent tenant.
Perhaps the most egregious aspect of my experience at Larchmont Lofts was the unprofessionalism and lack of responsiveness from the apartment manager. It felt like pulling teeth to get any sort of communication or assistance. Multiple maintenance requests have been dismissed without a second thought. It's clear that tenant satisfaction was not a priority for this management team. When we moved in and pointed out the many issues, he blamed us for not starting the electricity before our move in date so they couldn't see/fix the issues, but truly they never even bothered to inspect the apartment before the move-in date. The manager has never apologized for his negligent and overbearing behavior.
The complex has been almost empty for quite a while until recently that they hired a company (Skylight) to show and rent the apartments. No wonder no one wants to live in this mess!
The overall lack of maintenance in the common areas and elevators is appalling. None of the spaces have been cleaned since we moved in months ago. The hallways were littered with debris and bugs for the excessive lack of maintenance, and the elevator was a constant reminder of the utter disregard for cleanliness and tenant comfort.
If you ever bother to visit the place, look at the details in the common areas to get an overall sense of what you can expect: disgusting walls, the darkest elevator, and to decorate, the dead plants hosting pests on the sides of the building.
Save yourself the headache and find a place that prioritizes tenant satisfaction and maintains a habitable living environment.

Location, Location, Location
The location of this building is... incredible. You're surrounded by artisan food, coffee shops, a Lemonade... few blocks down Chipotle, every dentist ever, all your banks and even a grocery store - all in the relative peace and quiet of the Larchmont Village.
The lofts here are fine. Good open floorplan with polished cement floors (that are fairly easy to get dirty and, sometimes, fairly hard to clean), a tankless water-heater that lets you adjust the water temp at will, central air and HUGE... balconies (second floor corner units also have a private little alcove). You get tandem parking and 4 guest spaces.
Despite being only 4 stories, the elevator here is CRIPPLINGLY slow, and there is only one. All in all, it's perfectly fine, but for the price there should really be more amenities. There are none. No gym, no doorman, no conference room, no movie room, no rooftop pool, no retail spaces underneath, no bbq, no rooftop projector...
I mention all these things, because the LC across the street (which was built recently and DIRECTLY obstructs your view of the Hollywood Hills) has ALL of these. And the units are similarly priced. "So what gives?" you may ask. The answer is, "I don't know." That's why I'm filling out a review hoping to win free rent for life, so I can move out of here and find someplace else. Preferably rent-free courtesy of Jeff Goldblum. Let's hope life uh uh uh finds a way.

Not too shabs
Aside from losing the views to the Hollywood sign because of the LC Lofts, and the occasional fire alarm randomly going off, this is a nice place to live. Each unit gets 2 parking spots which is pretty rare for being where it is. The location is bananas. LEMONADE is amazing, there's a vegan/organic place that seems popular if you're gross like that. There's alcohol delivery right down the street, Astro Burgers, the entirety of Larchmont Village (Chipotle, 3 different banks, Noah's Bagels, a... farmer's market on Sundays, Starbucks, weird foo-foo salt ice-cream, a burger joint and like forty dentists.
What more could you ask for?
