Spacious apartments, balconies, closet space, very clean. I've been living at the Mediterranean Apartments for about 2 years and so far everything has been great! It's in an amazing area close to restaurants, shopping, and groceries, very convenient.

Warning for potential renters at 1776 N. Sycamore Ave. Building, Los Angeles, Ca.
This is my experience of dealing with the Manager and Owner(s) of this building.
I live in the building behind 1776 N. Sycamore Ave. building. My parking is gated and behind my building. My parking spot is surrounded by buildings and other cars, making it difficult for anyone from the street to see my vehicle. Several months ago, my car was broken into and the damage behind my building showed that the person(s) came from behind my building. The building behind my building is 1776 N. Sycamore... Ave., Los Angeles, Ca.
The Owner and Manager of the building that I live in, has told the management and/or owner of 1776 N. Sycamore Ave. that he has seen a person sitting on the staircase in the back of the building at night, several times. The Manager of my building told them to get a light in the back of the building to prevent strangers from sitting back there. This is Hollywood, and there are a lot of people in the streets and a lot of crimes and drug use. They ignored my managers request to get a light in the back of their building. Soon afterwards, my car was broken into. Clearly, they are not concerned about our personal and vehicle safety.
The fact that someone has broken my car window, stolen my things and went through all other parts of my car is very unsettling and has made me feel very unsafe. What if someone would have been coming home at that time? Someone could get hurt from this person(s).
This has happened several months ago. I have sent emails and have called them to get compensated for the damages and the items stolen from my vehicle. I have been completely IGNORED! This is why I am alerting any potential renters.
I pay for my parking spot in a secured gated parking. I keep my work items in my car because I need them each day for work and my items are bulky and heavy.
Because of their negligence, I have requested my full compensation for my broken and stolen items. The total of these items is $1,018.15. Again, I have been ignored, and not compensated.
Update: As I mentioned, this happened several months ago. I have recently noticed that they have put in a light in the back and have been doing work in the back of their building to make it look better. That is nice, however, they still owe me the money I am due. It is because of their negligence and disregard that this happened to my vehicle and me. I shouldn't have to fight for my reimbursement due to their negligence!
