How Is This Rating Determined?

Property Manager is Rude

Booked an appointment to meet with the property manager that was confirmed. She emailed me the day before saying that she booked another meeting at the same time as the date we had already set to take a tour of the building. When I responded asking for a different time, she never responded again.

Not a good start especially when you're trying to leave a building with horrible property managers.

Avoid

Tenants smoke on their balcony/in their apartment, which comes up through the floorboards (the building is “non smoking”) and the manager does nothing about it no matter how many times you complain. Super thin flooring, you can hear everything. Person below me has their music blasting during “quiet hours”, apparently yelling or talking so loud I can hear every word. Manager takes forever to respond, and not helpful. Don’t move here.

can’t get a hold of leasing staff or property manager

I have called this property 4 times as well as the leasing manager multiple times to no avail. I don’t know how they plan on leasing the property without taking calls from potential renters

New Managers & Owners

Building was recently sold and the new manager is not responsive at all and offers no help to residents when needed. Since it is in Culver City it is not mandated to have an on site property manager. Overall the building and units are great, when my leased was signed they were a great deal, but who knows what the new ownership group will try and charge.
