The location does't worth it
This place is bad, for condition and service. They don't care about the tenants. I've lived here for 4 years, and I'm so done with it. You'll pay so much time and efforts for management to deal with their tricks.
1, There's a website for payment, but with FEE each time with credit card and only on 1st ~ 3rd each month. You CANNOT set up automatic payment! But if you forget and pay late, they have a fine $150.
2, you need a laundry card, but the card machine is in the office. the office is... closed after 5 PM and closed on Sundays. The laundry room also close at 9PM because there are people living next door.
3, Bad soundproof. I know my neighbors upstairs are fighting, next door snoring, across have kids crying, super loud garbage truck before 7am. fun part, they merge the switches of the light and the fan in the restroom. If you have to use your restroom at night, you'll get a complaint for keeping the loud fan up next day.
4, Although they have everything re-newed when a tenant move out, low quality. The fan, shower head, lights, socket, will worn out soon. Even my dish washer fell out of the frame. And water pipes, you will get your bathtub and curtain covered with rust soon.
5, You don't really have a garage for storage, it's an overhead closet made by thin boards.
6, 'garden' in the name. But if you plan to grow, be careful. e.g., they wish to take photos of the apartment so they want me to remove something from garden. I confirmed each piece with the manager Debbie, whether a plant/tool/box should be removed/kept. Removed and kept. on the day they claimed to have workers coming, no one showed up. Then without notice, one morning they just removed all plants from the garden, excluding the very big ones like the tree ferns. Black berry gone, cranberry gone, hosta gone, more than $300 plants gone gone. Just a fake word 'sorry'.
7, Don't trust the environment. I saw plants in photos, and I moved in. ALL cut out years ago, and now rocks covering gardens. Some apartments used to be covered by trees now have huge living room windows toward streets. That's why everyone ALWAYS have the blinds closed.
8, dare you think there's public space, nice atmosphere or any activities for tenants.
9, dare you think they will use monitor cameras if you lost something. A nice couple moved out so sad as they lost their diamond engagement ring and got no help.
You can try to please the management team to get service, which you've paid for. No, no, and no.
