They hook you with a really good move-in special. But that's about where it stops being good. Management is completely useless. Also not very friendly. Fire alarms go off frequently and are extremely loud. Packages get stolen because people leave them in the mailbox area versus the package room. Elevators are insanely slow. If you love noise, you'll love it here. I face the pool and every night there's a party outside my window. My upstairs neighbor walks around like an elephant. Also the... neighborhood even though it offers a lot of restaurants, there's a ton of break-ins. My car got broken into two weeks after moving here in supposedly secured garage. My fob didn't work very well getting into the garage. I should be on a first name basis with the security team there. Overall, I wouldn't suggest living here. First the good: location, proximity to the lake, bart, nightlife.

The bad: high prices (and so many fees), theft inside and around the building, frequent fire alarms (false alarms).

The theft is the main drawback: every week I hear from my neighbors about stolen packages, food deliveries, mail, and/or bikes.

Best case, you don't have a car. Car windows are frequently smashed, even in the resident parking (2nd floor). More often in the public parking (1st floor). Still better than street... parking on this block where your window will get smashed within a week, even if you leave nothing in the car. Resident parking spot is hard to get. I know people who have been on the wait list for a resident parking spot for 3+ years.

A lot of things look nice but don't work:
* Fire pit on the roof is featured in the tour but hasn't worked for a year.
* Fancy door locks have batteries that need to be replaced yearly but they aren't, so sooner or later you are randomly locked out.
* Bike room would be nice if not for the theft (yes, they will cut through your U-lock) Read More
