I rented as I assumed things would be corrected and or fixed as needed. However, as the time passed by, things or items needed to be fixed or replaced in the first place were never paid attention to by the apartment management as initially promised As a matter of fact, despite verbally notifying the management on numerous occasions, my request/reminders were continuously or constantly ignored with the result that I was staying in the apartment that was in a depleted condition, on the assurance... by the management that all the faults would be corrected to make it appropriately habitable. Briefly stated, items were used up or in depleted state, such as carpet was in a dilapidated condition, cabinets were with cracked chipboard with an inappropriate small antique gas stove, old wall heater not in working condition, old air conditioner, inappropriate small old toilet that did not flush properly getting flooded, shower area needing renovation, as well as an old trash disposal that would stop working intermittently. In short, the condition of the apartment unit was in appalling condition requiring serious and or substantial renovation, all of that being ignored all together by the management throughout the period of my stay. Other than that, during the time of renting the apartment there has remained a major issue regarding pests specifically it is infested with cockroaches, plus noise and ongoing fights in adjacent apartment. Furthermore, homeless people coming in the apartment building and going through trash bins. Besides parking in the assigned area has been a significant issue with the neighbor parking his vehicle in the area assigned to me. All the issues were not given importance by the management despite me numerously complaining verbally to the apartment management there.
