There are times when my family and I have to wait several weeks if not months for basic repairs. When the repairs do finally get done; only the bear minimum necessary is repaired; making it inevitable that more often sooner than later the repair will be needed again, starting the cycle all over.

Don't be fooled, run while you still can
This location has numerous issues which would need an entire novel series to cover extensively. Let's just talk about a few...
1) The pool. Don't be fooled. Sierra Pointe DOES have a pool, it just isn't open. And when it is, it has to be shut down by the city for excessive chlorine levels. We have lived here for 3 years, and the pool has been open for amount 2 months. 2 months throughout the span of 3 years. Most recently, the pool was unexpectantly shut down, and a notice was put up by the... city or county warning of "unsafe levels of chlorine in the water". This issue was fixed, but the pool has yet to be opened again.
2) The manager. Impatient, naive, millennial. Easy as that. Look, she's trying. But there's only so much a community college educated girl can do when faced with so much. If you come looking for an apartment, she will smile and give you 5-star service. Once you're in, and need help with something or have a question, she will roll her eyes, say "I'll send someone later", or blame management.
3) Problem? Too bad. Many tenants here have issues with their walls, floors, carpets, water heaters, and windows. There is one man who fixes everything, and management refuses to add anyone else. We had an issue with our walls years ago, where the water would enter when it was raining, wanna guess how long it took to fix? 2 and a half years.
4) Kids having fun? Yeah right, not in my town. Many months ago, the manager informed us that scooters, bikes, skateboards, and basically any kids toy is not allowed. The funny thing is, after months of trying to enforce it, she gave up. Who knows, maybe if you decide to move in she'll begin again. Just beware.
5) Safety? YEAH RIGHT. You know how most apartment buildings have cameras? You know, to use if your car gets stolen (which has happened to about a half-dozen tenants), someone breaks your window (which has also happened), or someone keys your car (guess what? that's happened too). Well... Sierra Pointe is different. We have no cameras. Your safest bet is that one of the house moms here witnesses something.
6) I guess I should add a pro, for the sake of fairness, right? Sierra pointe is RIGHT NEXT to Eisenhower High, and fairly close to 2 elementary schools. Just remember, your kids can't play outside on their skateboards, if they get kidnapped there's no camera footage, and the manager becomes a ghost when you need her help.
Good luck! - An unhappy tenant

Pool looks nice, too bad it's dangerous.
A few days ago people from the county came and forced-closed the pool because it had dangerously high levels of chlorine and other chemicals that are potentially dangerous, especially to children.Don't be fooled by the pictures!

Sierra Point
Now that we have a new manager things are looking up. The apartment is semi affordable for a single mom with two kids. I love the size and layout of the apartment.
