I lived here for three years, and I loved it. The building is beautiful: it’s architecturally interesting, and there are plants and flowers throughout the common areas. Also, the location is perfect for anyone working downtown. Most importantly, the staff is amazing; in addition to being friendly and professional, they made this building a great community. I highly recommend it.

Mostly amazing!
The area is great, we chose this place because of how close it is to downtown Issaquah and hiking trails. We like to walk places and we can walk right into town on the trail that is directly behind the apartment complex. The unit itself is newly renovated which is very nice, beautiful marble counter tops, great fireplace. The rooms are spacious and cozy at the same time, not sure how they do that but it's awesome. The only complaint I have is that the renovations on the other apartments in the... building aren't done yet so we get to listen to that, kinda getting used to it though. Overall very in love with the apartment!

I like my apartment BUT they raise the rent to much!
I have had my apartment for 5 years & I LOVE it, but every year they raise my rent at least $50.00 a month. This will make me start looking around for a cheaper apt. this year!

Property Manager at 600 Front Street Apartments responded to this review
I am sorry you feel that way, since City of San Diego had raised the cost of water and sewer and we don't charge our residents we raised the rent. In the area the average of the increases was $200. So instead of charging the resident water, trash and... sewer we did a increase of $50.00.

Best location and price for downtown San Diego
The apartment Is in avery desirable location. It's close to Gaslamp and the seashore to take evening strolls. and there are less bums in this area. there is even a park close by. the windows need major major overhaul. they are thin and heavy to slide. in these days all windows should be dual paneI. This would cut down the noise from the fire trucks coming down Front St. and the freight train noise coming down harbor blvd. And during the harsh temperature changes insulate the interiors better.... The management staff are very professional but need to explain the basics of rental a little better for those who never rented before. There is no 24 hr emergency staff to call in event of troubles like toilets. When certain things break like garbage disposal they will have their repair staff immediately work on it during normal working hours. Parking is good if you pay for the $100 spots which is still cheap compared to outside parking lots which charge $25 a day. There are no electric outlets for any electric vehicles. Overall it's a very good place to live with an oversize jacuzzi and a small lap pool. I wished they would put a BBQ pit next to the pool or in the courtyard so we could entertain more friends in the summer.

Excellent Location
I love this place. I've been living here for a year and I have to say that this is the best location to live downtown. You're close to everything! A block from Horton Plaza and 24 hr Ralphs Grocery. Two blocks from Seaport Village, 4 blocks from the Gaslamp, around the corner from the Convention Center. Everything is within walking distance that you could ask for. Being located in the Marina district is a plus also because you don't have to worry about so many bums hanging out around the... building like you would in the East Village. The only problems I have with the place is that the windows are thin and you can hear everything outside, especially if the neighbors come in late from the club and want to talk loud. Also, parking can be a problem if you get a $65 a month spot. I'm paying $100 a month for a spot to not get my doors dinged. But there is a security person on duty every night with a post in the parking lot so you feel safe. Overall I love the location and think this is one of the best places to live downtown!
