Who we are: We are a group of six folks, one adorable toddler, two dogs, and four cats who have come together to build and live in community. We are a combination of fat, quee^r, poly, kinky, dis-abled, black, white, jewish, atheist, veggie and... non-veggie, creative folks in our 40's and 50's. We enjoy spending time with each other in our shared outdoor spaces. We also enjoy game nights, movie nights, cuddling with our fur babies, swimming, cooking, barbecuing, and terrible puns. We work from home and view our property, the Rainbow Retreat, as a friendly, welcoming place. We love holidays and decorating our space seasonally and have plans for a shared garden.

About the space:
The rental sits on a 1 acre property near downtown Sebastopol. One of 4 houses on the property, the Carriage House is for your exclusive use. It is a charming two story, two bedroom, one bathroom home featuring regular stairs outside and an internal spiral staircase. The layout is flexible - the spacious downstairs can be used in a variety of ways. The covered balcony is a relaxing place to sit among the trees and listen to bird songs.

Parking for one car is included, and complimentary laundry machines are at your disposal. Well-behaved cats and dogs are welcome with a pet deposit.

We're located in the heart of Sebastopol, just a 5 minute stroll from charming downtown where you can grab coffee, shop, enjoy a meal, visit a gallery, and more. Go for a nature walk on the trail that runs behind the property. Visit the weekly farmer's market and prepare a fresh meal in the sunny kitchen. Everything you need is within easy reach: grocery and drug stores, farm-to-table restaurants, wineries and cheesemakers, and The Barlow.
