Stone Creek Apartments: A Disappointing and Overpriced Experience

I recently had the displeasure of residing at Stone Creek Apartments, and I must say that my experience was far from satisfactory. From exorbitant pricing to poor maintenance response times, this apartment complex fell short in more ways than one.

First and foremost, the exorbitant rental prices at Stone Creek Apartments were simply unjustifiable. The management seemed to believe that they were offering a luxurious living experience, but the reality was far from it. The cost of living here was...
significantly higher compared to other apartments in the area, without any notable amenities or superior quality to justify the price hike. It felt like a blatant money-grab with no regard for the residents' well-being.

To add insult to injury, the maintenance team was painfully slow and inefficient. When my dishwasher broke down, it took a whopping two months for them to address the issue and replace it. Two months! That kind of delay is simply unacceptable, especially when basic household appliances are essential for daily living. Similarly, when the bathroom mirror cracked seemingly on its own, it took them a staggering four months to replace it. It felt like they couldn't care less about our comfort and convenience.

Furthermore, the constant intrusion for electrical compliance checks was highly inconvenient. Every couple of months, we would receive a notice demanding that we clear out our kitchen or a closet for maintenance to carry out their compliance checks. These interruptions were not only disruptive but also unnecessary, especially considering the subpar quality of the apartment itself.

Adding to the frustration, Stone Creek Apartments had a tendency to raise the rent at every opportunity they got. It felt like they were constantly seeking ways to squeeze more money out of their residents, rather than investing in improving the living conditions. It left a sour taste in my mouth and made me question their ethics and commitment to their tenants.

Overall, my experience at Stone Creek Apartments was extremely disappointing. The exorbitant pricing, coupled with the unreasonably long response times for maintenance requests, the intrusive compliance checks, and the frequent rent hikes, left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied. I would strongly advise potential renters to explore other options in the area before considering this overpriced and poorly managed apartment complex.

Very outdated

I’d look around before moving in here because there are much better quality apartments with better amenities for the same price. The apartments are outdated, small and thin walls. The bathroom in the “master bedroom” is so tiny, reminded me of a motel bathroom. The place never felt like home. The neighbor connected to my kitchen wall had a surround sound home theater system and every night was movie night. I mentioned to rental office multiple times and nothing changed. I

I just love it here

The staff, especially Stephanie, are so kind and helpful. They go above and beyond as their standard level of service. The complex is well maintained and quiet. The neighbors are nice. The location is great, right next to Granary Square and near the heart of Valencia. Coming here, they will work with you to help you find exactly the apartment that will work best for you. I've been here for over a year and I plan on staying for many years to come. Excellent place to live and excellent value. Come... here if that's what you are looking for. Don't come here if you are going to mess it up.

Bad Place to Live

Had the misfortune of living here with my girlfriend for a few months whilst I was searching for a new home. While the unit is in fair condition, it is nowhere near what it should be for the price.

Living on the ground floor underneath an apartment with the CREAKIEST floor ever with three renters is bound to frustrate. Not only do I hear almost every single footstep, but the music (and other activities) could drive someone insane. We also have neighbors across the way who somehow manage to...
blast their music loud enough to fill up the entire half of the complex several times a month without anyone so much as batting an eye. How is this permissible?

There is supremely limited public parking and if you have two cars, forget about it. Half of the public spaces are taken up by people who live on the premises which means if you have visitors and there isn't any parking, they will have to park in the shopping center across the street and walk over.

My girlfriend has complained multiple times to the grounds manager about our bathroom light fixture barely functioning and have never gotten any reply or maintenance worker to replace and/or fix it. The smoke detector in the powder room will go off for NO reason whatsoever and seems impossible to disable as it is fixed into the wall.

Really, the only positive thing I can muster about this complex is its proximity to the Valencia town center via a nice walking trail and Ralphs on the other end, otherwise this place is not worth your time or money. Pay the same amount to live in a much nicer place with better management and neighbors. I'm glad I didn't pay money to live here, 'cause yeesh.

Great location

Love my apt. Very hard to find a one bedroom and one loft for a good price. Great location in the center of town, in a nice area, and tons of shopping/restaurants. Only problem with the place is it needs a little updating in the apt and pool/gym facilities.
