Srsly?

Tangent has amazing units, a beautiful office, and friendly staff. Maintenance is timely and attentive, but the same can't be said for the front office and their responses to resident concerns.

Ordinarily, I might list off several "annoyances" we've had at Tangent (there are many), but I won't do that because this review isn't about our annoyances - these happen at every single complex, especially newer ones. That being said, typically when a resident raises a concern or legitimate complaint,...
management is quick to jump on it in a timely manner.

We are gathered here today to discuss: GATES.

Our main issue is the gates to the community, as it relates to lower floor residents or those physically located closer to any of the 3 gates. These gates break CONSTANTLY. One inch of snow will freeze the gates either shut or open, which is ridiculous purely because of the fact that it's Colorado and it snows just a lil bit here. The gates being locked one way or another isn't a huge deal - but guess what?

The gates BEEP, incredibly loudly, a total of SIX times with every enterance or exit, and yes, you can hear them from inside your 2/3rd floor apartment with all windows/doors closed. So, when these gates lock up, we are blessed enough to hear constant, non-stop, incessant beeping all through the night as if someone is entering and exiting over and over until the gates magically start working again.

I've written to management about this, to be met with a good ol fashioned "We'll look into it". After responding and expressing my concern for this to be more of a priority, I was met with 2 weeks worth of silence. I'll adjust this review when I feel that I've actually been heard by management, with a decent solution in mind to allowing me and my partner to live comfortably here.

Otherwise it's good, move in. Just buy some earmuffs.

Regardless, we heard your concern and lowered the volume of the... beeping in hopes this will eliminate any inconvenience you are experiencing. We encourage residents to contact the office with any concerns they may have and gladly welcome feedback. While we work hard to keep our residents happy, most new communities such as ours experience occasional growing pains in their first year, and we appreciate you for understanding and for sharing your experience.
