good location but fees pile up with no black mold remediation.
The location is great, food shopping, schools, paths and downtown.
There is black mold in the wet walls all over these buildings. They even make you sign a waiver making it your fault if black mold spreads. There is a fee for everything, Admin fees, landlord insurance fee, a monthly 86.00 fee for electricity, lawn, trash, water and sewer all tacked on top of your normal rent, which is how the bilking begins.
You cannot clean your own carpets when moving out and have to hire a professional... and get a receipt or they charge you the max. No bird feeders, electric BBQ grills only, the lease is all about what you can't do, like if you have an issue, you can't go to any outside assistance it is all handled by the apartment so you can gripe all you want about all the broken things in the complex, but you can't do anything about it and they will evict you.
Just before I moved out they allowed dogs on to the property which they allow to crap all over the complex lawns, parking islands without any penalty.
The prices are great if you want to live in an apartment where everything you do is illegal and then they give you a 5 or 3 day eviction notice, which happened to my neighbors all the time.
Getting maintenance is next to impossible, you never get an answer, this is because they can't keep maintenance staff, which goes to show how they treat the employees. They often site they need to come in to your apartment but do not give you 24 hours. The whole place is full of nice people trapped in a bad situation.
The reason for the great prices are because there are no amenities except 2 washers and dryers in each building which are often broken and they threaten to remove them all together if you say even the slightest thing negative about the state of the washing facilities. Also the rent will go up, and that money goes to the manager of the property not back into the property.
Ask to read the lease in advance while viewing the apartment, ask about the black mold, ask about all the extra fees they tack onto your bill every month. You will also see you have no rights because they make you sign them all away. You will soon realize this is not the place you want to be.

Unbeatable Location!
Christopher Village is the ideal place to live! Right outside of Boulder and just a short drive to Denver. Their prices are killer! There is a Wells-Fargo on the same corner, a gas station, restaurants, a King Soopers in walking Distance, and Downtown Louisville is just a couple of blocks away. Management and maintenance is responsive and reliable!
