Wonderful Place to live with incredibly helpful staff
I lived here for a little over 1.5 years and moved due to changing jobs. The property manager was very helpful and responsive to any requests or questions that I had during my time at the Terraces. The maintenance staff was friendly and respectful. I would recommend this place to a friend or colleague!

Predatory practices for departing renters
Lived here for a couple of years, had a fine experience until I moved out and was hit with over a 1000$ in cleaning fees and presented with a "detailed charges" list which was literally just a collection of numbers with no description of what they meant or why they were charged. The apartment and services were fine, but the way they have treated me since leaving has been absolutely absurd even going so far as to suggest that because my lease break fee was waived (I was serving and left under... orders so it was illegal to be charged the lease break fee) I could or should pay for whatever charges they wanted to bill me for even if they weren't applicable.
If you have to live here just be sure you give yourself a month of cleaning time and remove every inch of dust before going to ensure you don't get screwed by their predatory practice of gouging you once you are gone.

Overpriced and Unresponsive
Lived here for the past year and recently moved. I was mislead from the beginning when the ad I responded to lied by saying laundry facilities were located in my building rather than in another building down the street. The location of the apartments are great and they have lots of closet space, but they're still overpriced given the quality of the apartments. The appliances are all quite old and the carpet is very poor quality (doesn't even meet the walls in some places). The front office is... not responsive to residents and is difficult to reach as the office is frequently empty during normal business hours (9:30-5:30). Maintenance was another issue. I paid $50 when my key broke off in my lock and the emergency maintenance man showed up drunk. I also had the front office not relay maintenance requests to the maintenance personnel multiple times including when I didn't have hot water during winter. I submitted a maintenance request approximately three months prior to moving out with no effort to look into the request, contact me, or fix the broken appliance. All of this and the the company wanted to raise my rent by ~$30/month if I wanted to renew my lease. I found a newly renovated apartment not far for $50/month less. I highly recommend avoiding The Terraces and seeking out many of the other opportunities that Norwich has to offer.

BEWARE!!!!
If I had a dollar for every charge they made me pay, I could live here for free.
My apartment shakes all night from the person below me and the office staff just tell me to "deal with it myself."
If you violate the lease they will do everything in their power to make you pay, if they break the lease there is nothing you can do.
NOTE: If you work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, good luck picking up packages... their office is only open from 9am to 5:30.
