I called yesterday 9/10 and spoke with a representative which was a lady. She informed me that they had two units becoming available in Oct along with a lot of other information about the property. When I called back another lady answered the phone was very unprofessional, lack customer service skills, wasn’t welcoming and was very discouraging and told me no units were able. I was lost. I informed her that I previously spoke to someone and they stated otherwise. She still was very rude and what... she was saying didn’t make sense. I disconnected the call. I just want to inform people that after reading these comments clearly states the management sucks and lacks communication. I haven’t even moved it yet and got a clear vibe on how they operate. So sad because I was really interested!

Rude staff
I have lived here at fort Chaplin apartment for almost 9 years. The STAFF and MANAGEMENT is extremely rude. I’ve been hung up and lied on and dismissed for asking questions. I was given a notice stating my utilities weren’t in my name (LIES) And if I didn’t get my utilities put in my name the manager was going to cut off my utilities (WOW). I called to verify what exactly was going on the staff started yelling and me telling “it’s in your lease” if you don’t do it I was going to get put out as... I was trying to explain all off my utilities was in name she continued to yell I then asked for the assistant Manager as she was trying to put me on HOLD she tells the manager “SOMEONE ELSE WANTS A 30 DAY NOTICE” I never sad that. Management Then gets on the phone I said “I heard what your staff said” she replies “she didn’t say anything” as she continued to call me a lair instead off apologizing for her rude staff management hangs up on me. I then called back and said “I’m sorry I didn’t know if it was my phone or your but we got disconnected”. Management replied “NoI hung up”. (WOW ) and this is management. As I’m still trying to get and understanding management is still down taking me as if I’m stupid when I was able to speak I explained to her I didn’t say those comments your staff said I did and she acknowledged that but I still didn’t get any apology. As she still trying to get me to agree to some wild term of a lease from 2012 she goes on to say we will be sending your file to our attorney. Then I asked for corporate number management replied “the only thing their going to do it redirect you back to me” I replied “I wish not to speak with you” I was on hold to 15Minuntes before I was given the number WOW do not move here STAFF and MANAGEMENT is horrible.

Customer service
There are a few places I'll say you can go and fine quality customer service or even just for someone to talk to for a short time. They have very nice leasing agents who were very polite to me and my daughter since the time we walked in the door. I want to say thank you to Ms. Simmons for helping me out today and especially being so nice in allowing my child to stay in one spot by given her something kids love. Pencil and paper lol. I will be back soon with all I need to become apart of this... community. Thank you! Ms. Wilson

Mice!!!
Don't move here!! Apartments have mice and it doesn't matter how many times, I call someone to come out and fix things. The same issue keeps on occurring!! Also, I put a transfer in almost a year ago and no one has contacted me. Each time I ask when will something become available, I get the run around!!! I can't wait to find something else so I can LEAVE!!!!!

CURRENT TENANT REVIEW
I currently live in a 2 bedroom apartment in ft. Chaplin park. I love the apartment very spacious, my building is very quite. THE ISSUE COMES IN WITH THE MAINTENANCE!!!! every time the seasons change and I need to use the heat or the air I have to HARASS THE MAIN OFFICE TO EVEN HAVE SOMEONE TO COME OUT TO FIX THE ISSUE!!!! When they do send someone out they never fix it the first time NOR SECOND. It has come to the point when I do not speak with the office worker I request to speak directly to... the property manager... and she fails to have the issue resolved but has sent out a flyer which specifies that heating/cooling outages are considered a property emergency. I have a alarm system so I can see when my front door and my balcony door open and close, if they wanted to treat the issue as an emergency then you would think that they would actually come to the apartment and look and the unit....NOPE they don't even come through the door! I try to convince myself that I am over reacting but I have a toddler and the fact that I have had to put her to bed in a apartment that has been over 90 degrees (when air is not working) or to bed with me because our home is freezing cold. I have been forced to use our gas stove to heat our home (VERY DANGEROUS) while we are awake. I have dealt with it as long as I can before posting these reviews... but I see it as if they don't care about me and the conditions my daughter and I are forced to live under why should I care about telling how poor there maintenance is........
