Maintenance and management are both severely lacking and non-transparent / give you shady explanations when you do interact with them. I would recommend avoiding at all costs and going to a building with better management and on-site staff.

The Lanes Review
I think it's a good location since it's right next to a metro stop. I have some problems with the apartment and thought I'd leave a review here. My door wasn't locking properly and I asked the leasing office to have it fixed. They claimed that that was a fire hazard so they couldn't actually fix the door. Meanwhile, the other tenant's door and the door to the bathroom could properly lock just fine, so their reasoning didn't add up. Towards the end of my time there, they had another tenant move... into the apartment without giving me a heads-up. I learned this when I opened the door with the new tenant, his mom, and the building engineer. There was a tenant there previously where I was given a heads up beforehand, so not sure why I wasn't informed on that. I had no problem with the new tenant, I just wasn't informed, so that seems to me to be an issue. I would just say consider these points before moving into this apartment. Overall, I thought the place was fine. I didn't particularly like my roommate's situation, as they just moved another tenant to the room next to mine within 3 days of me moving there and we didn't really vibe all that well.
