Two stars for good community - (-3) for extremely poor staff
During my nearly three-year stay at Mizner Court, I found the community quite lovely. I never had a single complaint and on-time rent payment record. However, I did have some less-than-pleasant experiences with property management, particularly with Lincoln Management. I want to emphasize that I wasn't alone in encountering these issues; several other residents have also had similar concerns.
Mizner Court does have some rather strict community policies, which can sometimes be a bit tricky to... navigate. Additionally, how the office staff and overall management conducted themselves didn't always create a very tenant-friendly atmosphere. One incident that stands out to me was the substantial 65% rent increase I faced at the end of my 18-month lease renewal. When I asked for an explanation for such a significant hike, the response I received was simply, "This is the current new lease rate if you want to continue living in the community." This lack of transparency and the rather curt response left me feeling disheartened.
For those looking to add roommates to their lease, dealing with the office staff could be quite a challenging process. I went through a situation where one staff member initiated what I can only describe as a very thorough investigation, even discouraging me from seeking potential roommates through social media groups, despite my willingness to comply with background checks and income verification. Unfortunately, the office staff demonstrated a noticeable lack of professionalism and courtesy, especially when situations didn't directly align with their interests. The interrogation happened by 4-5 staff members in the lobby area in the presence of potential/current residents which made me feel humiliated. This repeated rude behavior by the staff was a significant factor in my decision to leave the community.
I think it's essential to share these experiences to help potential future residents understand the potential challenges they might face when dealing with the office and management at Mizner Court. I hope that this information can assist you in making informed decisions about your housing choices.

Problems with everything
This community is extremely noisy being located at the corner of two main roads plus the nearby firehouse station. It’s definitely overpriced, as amenities are really basic for the area and price charged (don’t even have a basic business center and don’t bother cleaning the pools nor territory). The huge problem is if you rent a unit on a 1st floor: you gonna hear every step your neighbors make, literally every single step. Even worse problem is that the management team openly lies to you and... falsificates pictures of your unit not to return the security deposit. It’s really easy to compose a pdf file with a picture of your unit number and then add a separate random picture of some corner of a carpet, and then claim that it’s your unit’s carpet with pet urine on it. Total shame!

Maintenance continues to be the best part of living here
I have been here since January 2020. The maintenance staff is truly dedicated and take their work seriously, making sure everything gets fixed. Nestor, particularly, stands out. He always approaches every job with a smile and is always ready to lend a hand if you need it. Francisco in the leasing office always ensures matters are addressed and is good about following up.
