Avoid if you can.

We moved in June and this experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. The only reason to even consider this place is the close distance to the beach and lower cost. But I would recommend just living the 20 minutes from the beach and paying more money to not live here.

A few days before moving in, we were told the apartment wasn't ready and they needed to update it. This was very annoying, but we agreed. The day we needed to get our keys, no one was at the office for over 3 hours. Finally,...
when this guy showed up, we found out the new apartment was also not ready. We refused to change again. They showed us the place, the slider door was in aweful condition and its impossible to open/close, BUT they told us they'd replace in 3-5 weeks. 4 MONTHS LATER, this hasn't been updated. It's covered in grime that is impossible to clean and there is literally wood wedged under to keep it up. They also did not clean the place to the level anyone should ever expect when they move in. We had bugs in our kitchen, and pulled out the stove to find literally a mound of food crumbs and greese. I had to spend over 4 hours scrubbing the patio because it looked like no one had cleaned it in years. The vents in the bathrooms are covered in caked on dust and other stuff that keeps falling in clumps when you turn it on.

The vendors they use are aweful - they've stained carpet, left giant splotches of the wrong color paint on the wall, gashed the wall, made giant messes, etc. They had to replace our shower within a month of moving in and the new shower is cheap and already coming apart.

Management gives incosistent information constantly. They'll tell you they'll fix something by a certain time and won't. They'll tell you they'll followup and never do, etc. Or they just ignore you completly.

Also, no one cleans the stairways. They are always covered in dirt and trash.

If you work from home - don't move here! They give literally zero notice of when they will do things that will fully upend your day. We've gotten an email the night before mandatory work would be done. ALSO the neighbors are THE WORST. I've rented for 20 years and in a college neighborhood, and never have had so many neighbors that don't care about their neighbors like this. Our nextdoor neighbors literally fight every day to a point I think we are going to be on Dateline. Our above neighbor is a guy who acts like he's in a frat house. People will just yell in the stairwells and outside.

Beware

Do not move here unless you want to hear stomping from your neighbors and slamming doors all day and night. Or the smell weed in and outside your apartment. Upgraded models have ants…

Terrible management

Management doesn't return calls, and there is a severe bed bug problem.

Love it here

My apartment is beautiful. The property is beautiful. It is worth the money I pay.

What really makes it a pleasure to live here are the people. I’m a private person but I find myself compelled to enjoy my neighbors. It is such a great mix of people who are friendly and respectful of one another. I come from a tough city where apartment tenants stick to themselves. Sure, us bright souls always find each other so there were a few people I connected with but not like here. This community reminds...
me of the small town I owned my house in. I’m pleasantly surprised to find this exists outside of small towns.

The best part about the people and the services you provide are Anthony and Alejandro…

Anthony and Alejandro genuinely care about us and our experiences here. They are both exceedingly kind to me and all my crazy questions (I do try to leave them alone when they are off work). They both stop to check in with me and make sure I am happy here. Sure, they each have responsibilities but they naturally have customer service skills that not many possess. In my mind that levels up this community and the living experience. They take care of things right the first time and I have a lot of respect for that. My time is precious and I don’t need to spend it chasing down fixes.

I am thoroughly enjoying living here.

Maintenance

Only recently moved into the Community, moreover each time I have had a concern; Maintenance are quick to be there and handle the problem professionally. I am impressed with the articulated explanation of the couple of issues I have had here in my building. They are GREAT!!! The community as a whole is quiet and comfortable......there is security in knowing we have an outstanding maintenance staff!!!!!!
