Safety Concerns

I moved in 6 months ago and was very excited given this building was new, beautiful and seemed like a really good fit for me… My biggest concern has always been safety. While I have enjoyed my interactions with the office team, Tiffany & Alexa specifically... I continue to experience issues and it’s unfortunate for me to have to leave a negative review but I am extremely disappointed and hope this enlightens upper management to find solutions as this is only a 1 year old building already with... countless issues and upset residents. I am writing this thorough review and will echo some of my neighbor’s reviews as well.

- “Concierge”: this is not 24/7 concierge doorman building. There are “3 hours/day” of allocated breaks & “security walks” in which the front desk / lobby is left unattended; in timings are listed but not accurate. There is also only 1 main phone line to both concierge and office; & on most days, you won’t get an answer at all: They recently added a “concierge text line” that either has a very delayed response or none at all. I have had to go downstairs to get my guests and food deliveries which is a huge inconvenience. ie. Yesterday; at 1pm & last night at 2:30am. I would suggest having the front properly staffed as 1 concierge can’t be on break, getting packages, answering phones / texts, fobbing delivery access & taking security walks at the same time….

- Safety: Guests and deliveries are let up without notice quite often, their protocol is to check the ubereats app but given there are so many times concierge is not at the desk, I’ve watched our residents fob access for random people. I’ve also watched concierge give a fob to delivery carriers. Recently, I’ve had 2 packages stolen from my unit door, there has been no resolution offered.

- Elevators: there were so many issues when I 1st moved in, while it’s gotten better, it’s still very slow. There are only 2 elevators + 1 service elevator for a 200+ unit building. This is also a pet friendly building so be prepared to spend time with oversized animals in the elevator jumping. It also either smells like dog or food in the elevators…

Again, I really hope this review is brought to the attention of upper management to resolve. I really do want to love this building. I standby the fact the team & neighbors are lovely…. But these aren’t small issues to ignore.

Thank you!

Smooth Move-In and Great Service!

Great apartment building with excellent amenities and a fantastic location. Alexa Well was a huge help throughout the entire process, from answering questions to ensuring a smooth move-in. The only downside is the guest parking situation, as only a few pay-by-phone options are available, but everything else has been great. Highly recommend!

Bad management, poor facilities

This building is poorly managed. We moved in four months ago and to this date they have been unable to do basic facilities maintenance, the parasols from the building are missing to this date, the parking is poorly managed, they create a system of fees and inconvenience to extract from residents, not to make life easy. Parking, for example is not assigned, poorly monitored, and the management company seems to have no record of current cars leading to tickets and wasted time for residents.

The...
appliances in the apartment are of a third rate quality, the apartment is constantly big infested to which the buildings exterminator claims it’s normal in these types of building.

Management office response time is poor. They are good at selling, but not at maintaining.

A Nightmare

f you're looking for a stress-free apartment hunt, look the other way from Metro Edgwater. My experience, sadly, was riddled with incompetence and a complete lack of human understanding.

It all started with a hopeful application. Within 12 hours, however, unforeseen medical developments demanded my immediate attention, forcing me to withdraw from the process. Understandably, I needed my $900 application fees and deposit refunded. This, apparently, was too much to ask from Metro Edgwater.

My...
eight phone calls were met with a revolving door of excuses and empty promises of callbacks. Not one call was returned. Finally, a desperate email to Tiffany, my initial contact, explained my situation and the urgent need for the refund. Again, promises were made, deadlines missed, and radio silence became the only response.

This isn't just about the money—it's about the utter lack of empathy and professionalism. In a time of personal crisis, Metro Edgwater's management team couldn't be bothered to offer even the slightest courtesy. They turned a stressful situation into a nightmare.

To anyone considering Metro Edgwater: save yourself the heartache. This building may look shiny on the outside, but the management cracks under pressure, leaving residents feeling abandoned and disrespected. Do yourself a favor and choose a place where basic human decency isn't an afterthought.

This one-star review isn't just a warning, it's a plea. Think twice before entrusting your home and well-being to a team that fails so spectacularly at both.
