I just relocated to the area and finding an apartment has been a slow frustrating process. I drove by Somerset Palms today and decided to pop in and check it out. Britney, the leasing manager, was so warm and inviting! She quickly showed me a cute unit and helped me through the Application process while making it feel easy, which was incredibly helpful after a challenging apartment hunting process. If everything goes as planned, I hope to be a new resident in just a couple days!

living here is peachy
I first moved here during the walk of Covid and it was very quiet, after Covid lifted everything became so lively. Kids skating, people riding bikes. It’s so cozy here.

Great staff, great pool area
Great for the Florida lifestyle of lounging around the pool and being close to the beach, even if you're moving a family into a rental. Can't beat the 4 bedrooms here!

Not a Place to Call Home
The first year we lived here the community was great as described in all the other reviews here dated pre 2019. Then they changed the rules on qualifying to live here. When we moved in we had to make a certain income & pass a background check.
Once the rules changes, the cleanliness of the community went down hill quickly, we began to have pest control issues, toilets that backed up and flooded the apartment, maintenance jobs half done & an AC fire that took weeks to repair. Police were called... to the community on a regular basis to deal with various issues from our new neighbors, the pool bathrooms were destroyed and fights broke out at the pool between grown men!
We decided it was time to go. Spoke to the office staff who understood our concerns and agreed to let us go if we paid an additional months rent. After we had left we then received a demand for $3,500.00 for a termination fee. Don't rent here it has completely gone down hill.

Awesome Property
Awesome place to live, the staff is always there to help. They always take care of any issues right away. The mtce. staff also goes above and beyond. I have had to contact mtce after hours and Ian is always quick to come take care of anything that goes ary.
