I have lived her for the better part of 1 year, and have loved the experience. The management is attentive and friendly, and the other tenants are respectful and courteous. I haven't taken advantage of the amenities in the lobby, but will say it is nice and comfortable to pass by. Overall, would highly recommend the Flats. I was advised by locals that the neighborhood can be a lil rough, but thus far I've lived here problem free. One word of advise, if you work nights and sleep during the day,... get an apartment that does not border the side street. Fire house isn't far away, and working nights, there have been numerous occasions of being awakened by the sirens in the early morning and midafternoon.

I lived here for 6 months and loved my little studio. Everything was brand new in the apartment and very affordable for what you would rent elsewhere in the city. This is a great location and walking distance from the microbrewery, the aquarium, civic center, a library, boutique shopping, and quite a few restaurants and bars. There are great running and bike trails down by the river and a small gym in the neighborhood as well. The only reason I moved was to go to grad school.
