Poor Management and Staff worst Behavior

I lived here from May 2023 to November 2023.
We took 3 bed room Apartment. That apartment had lot of issues like bath tub leakage, kitchen sink, lot of bed bugs etc. Mainly staff behavior is worst. We do not have water for 3 days. Daily we were going to leasing office for bath and washrooms.
We brought water from leasing office to wash utensils. We have faced horrible problems. Finally they fined $2500 for carpet, tub, garbage etc. We requested them alot for damage cost. But they did not listen...
. Forcibly they charged from us. Strongly I do not suggest this apartment.

VERY DISAPPOINTING move, but a good area

We were driving all the way from Kansas City (13hrs drive) in a Uhaul truck hauling our vehicle so you can imagine how exhausted we were once we arrived. We proceeded to go to the office to pick up the keys and the lady there tells us that our apartment that was supposed to be all hardwood flooring is still carpeted because of some scheduling issue with the folks who were supposed to replace it. Mind you no one ever mentioned this in the many calls I did with them throughout the week or no one... minded to give us a courtesy call to notify us of the issue so that we could have a chance to adjust the move.
We get to the apartment & during the walk-through the first thing we notice is how dusty everything is, from the blinds, vents, fans, light fixtures, bathrooms etc. Absolutely no cleaning was done. The fridge was missing parts, the microwave glass dish was chipped, smoke detector not working..etc and at some point during the move I stepped & injured myself on a nail in the master bedroom (heavily looking into legal action for this). I understand they thought the carpet would be changed before the move but when they realize it couldn't happen the least they could have done is send cleaners to vacuum and clean the place. We ended up picking up 5 pieces of nails on the floor in different spaces. The whole move was a mess because of the whole carpet inconvenience, we couldn't even setup the bed because we didn’t want to have to dismantle it again when the flooring ppl come in a couple of days so we ended up sleeping on the couch for two nights. We did the best we could in cleaning the dust but in those first two days we inhaled so much of it that we both had sore throats and coughing. You can just imagine what we are going through with the combination of exhaustion from the long drive, helping the movers up three floors and now dealing with all these issues.

All in all I would say just be careful in moving into these apartments. The folks at the front office are really nice but I would say not to trust what they promise you, if possible request for a video of your actual unit before you sign your lease otherwise if you can’t come see it before your move in be prepared to be screwed. With that said the area looks safe & the surrounding area is really nice & lots to do so I would still recommend the place ONLY if everything you are promised about your apartment is true.

Would not recommend here or any irtliving property

I do not recommend moving in here! Over the past 3 years this place has taken a disappointing turn, it used to be a nice, clean, and quiet place, now it’s dirty, there is new paint that is very cheaply done, and tenants that do not care about living here. The gate is constantly broken, there are never any poop bags re stocked and dog poop everywhere, and maintenance request NEVER get done. And when I say never I mean never, months and months ago I put a maintenance request in and it’s still un... completed. when maintenance attempts to come one time with no warning and no one answers the door the maintenance request is marked completed so you have to call and schedule again for it to actually be completed and hopes that you don’t miss their knock. I have now had a broken garage door, a broken dishwasher, a broken sink, a broken toilet, and an air seal on my patio door bad all for months, I have called the front office, property manager, and even corporate and still no update and nothing is done, it’s ridiculous! There is nothing good about this place and it is very over priced for what is offered, you will be much better off going elsewhere and staying away from this place and I’d assume all other IRT living properties.

Look Elsewhere! Seriously!

I have lived here for 2 years going on 3 years whereby unhappy living started the day I moved in. I can't afford to move twice in 1 month when your electrical kitchen appliances blow the main breaker every time you turn them on. Countless times I put in a request to get the burners fixed and I was told it was fixed and its my problem I don't know how to use my stove. The dish washer is held into place with two tiny screws that fell out two months after moving in. I use a dish washer that teeters... back and forth when I pull out the racks. In addition, the neighbor below, their fan in the master bedroom makes a very loud buzzing noise when in use! To the point of keeping me awake at all hours of the night. I requested the fan be fixed September, 2020 however, it did not get fixed. Fast forward to April 2021 with new management in place you would think things would get better, think again… I requested again for assistance and management mentioned it would be fixed by the following week at which I asked the MANAGER how come it hasn't been replaced and was told she HOPES it will get fixed the next day, nope it did not happen, still a month has gone by and nothing! Loss of sleep is not considered high priority and they will get to it when they can. I am currently sleeping on my single person recliner for the last couple of months. The trash receptacle for the complex is ALWAY full and you can never throw your trash away other than outside the door of the receptacle. I pay the $30 but never use the trash service because twice my trash has been turned over and was charged a fine, knowing full well it was not like that when I left it out for pickup. People smoke tobacco and pot on their balconies and nothing is done about it other than a letter sent out to all residents... which doesn't solve the problem. The rent is increasing way to high for the lack of maintenance services and lack of customer service this place provides. I encourage you to look elsewhere.
