If you’re trying to find a home here is not the place

I endured 3 long years of mediocrity coming from management… they’re aware always someone new working there, after they swap over management it got worse! The egos are ridiculous especially from Yohan the assistant manager.
I first moved into my apartment December 2020, upon arrival I was greeted by roaches , I was told that was because pest control was sent in! Well the roach issues continued and it was to a point my apartment wasn’t sanitary and I spent money buying food instead of cooking....
Then early 2021 I discovered mould I was told that it wasn’t mould so I then let be … from that day I endured a serious of health complications; migraines, anxiety and even respiratory issues to a point I needed an inhaler. I’ve never needed an inhaler in my entire life!
The entire 2021 I had a large infestation to a point the refrigerator had to be replaced cause they lived inside of the refrigerator. We even had a raccoon in the roof that almost attacked my sister while she was asleep! It took them 7 months to fix the hole in the ceiling.
2022 I can’t count how many times I’ve visited the office, the apartment complex is NASTY yet they increased the rent. That place was built in the 70s.
This year my husband and I smelt mould and decided enough was enough we now have a 1 year old, the constant headache we’re so bad that the entire month of July we left the complex and stayed with family in another state.

September 8th we returned the Keys and was spoken to in a VERY condescending manner by Yohan. We told Yohan about the mould, Yohan dismissed it by saying “that’s not mould!” He never saw a photo never stepped foot into my apartment . Then came up with this bogus excuse saying it’s condensation what Yohan didn’t know is that I studied biology in college. What Yohan fail to understand is CONDENSATION CAUSES MOULD. Especially in the back of an area that doesn’t receive light! Wild mushrooms grows in the back of our complex .. No Yohan said it’s natural growth! Our neighbor and others that came over to help us move all SMELT MOULD! Yohan then called my husband and I dirty because the toilet they were suppose to replace in June that we cleaned was Filled with mould… Yohan also said in the demeaning way that “you leaving because you don’t have money or you leaving because of the mould” with the amount of trauma I endured I’m choosing my health and the health of my husband and son.

An Aparrment In Shambles

I’ve visited my friends at this apartment over the past three years. I spent the night once or twice when they were living in the one bedroom - it was an okay experience. Recently they moved into a two bedroom apartment. Hear me out when I say it has been a living nightmare for them - it has truly been awful! There is a raccoon living in the roof which made a hole in the wall; the management team placed a white covering over it and literally brushed it off. This is the sickening part - there are... roaches crawling from a door that is locked, they also live in the refrigerator. I can speak from personal standpoint because I spent 16 days with them. A exterminator visited the apartment and said it was a prior issue and the apartment should be fumigated.l and the refrigerator replaced. They visited the office to add their name to the list, spent money on a hotel the day it was to get fumigated. When they returned IT WAS NOT FUMIGATED. The lady literally lied and did not add their apartment to be fumigated. You would think with a new management property - things would be better. It’s not. I cannot stress how annoying and unhealthy these conditions are along with the nasty, passive aggressive dismissive attitude of the staff!

WintersCreek Apartments

Lived here 2.5 years. There is a $100 increase to renew lease. They changed management 3 times and absolutely do not value their residents as they will not allow you to upgrade to a larger apartment at the end of your lease. They call it "no transfer". They'd rather lose their residents than to accommodate them. Several things in my apartment began breaking down and after a year and a half of trying to get maintenance over, nothing has been repaired. As a result the issues have gotten worse,... kitchen cabinets collapsed, and now they are trying to charge me for the damages. The entire complex needs renovations. Hardwoods that are vinyl and not actually wood at all. Roaches are pretty bad. And for a time period while a tv show was being filmed we were trapped in our apartment unable to leave or even open the door. Couldnt even take our dog out and she used bathroom on the floor because of it. I was really patient and understanding about them having their hands full with work orders ultimately resulting in my being held responsible for inevitable damages. Glaze was peeling up in the shower as they used paint and didnt have it properly glazed. I reported this and they are wanting to charge me $125 to have shower reglazed. I could go on and on. I give credit where credit is due but theres is no credit to give here. It just isnt a nice place to live and no tenant appreciation shown. Laundry room caught on fire and it took a year to have it operative. There are false features listed that dont actually exist, ie, theres no court yard, relaxing spa, a gym was just added but it contains 2 tredmills and a yoga ball, and it is not a gated community. Be ready to constantly have people in and out of your apartment as they have random "inspections" about every week. I could go on and on but i think ive said enough. thank you.

$100 Rent Increase Everytime You Renew

The move~in price will pull you in then each time you renew there's a $100 increase & no incentives....none. Employees talk a wonderful wonderful game. NO WiFi business center, NO fitness center, NO laundry room for now(fire), Doggie area NOT maintained, Soccer Court fence falling, 1000's Mosquitoes on Play Ground, NO courtesy officers, NO up~to~date nothing in units, Water Bill $65 set price, outside is beautiful, neighbors are great, quite overall, decent side of the city.
