These people do not care about the residents here. They will remove your property without warning or notice but threaten you with eviction for being 1 day late on your rent. They saw they will fix the issues but then take forever to fix the problem. No one ever returns your phone calls and they just make up charges and and them to your bill outside of your rent with no explanation and expect it to be paid or you guessed it EVICTION!! They need some actual professional people working out who know... what there doing.

Amazing
Great staff that answered all of my family’s questions. It was nice seeing children outside playing. The neighborhood seems very family oriented and I think my family will fit in great here. One of the best places We’ve seen lately. Looking forward to calling valdosta home soon.

Advertising is misleading because the company is using two many names. They tend to carry Many communication barriers from one end to the receiver. There's no reward in paying your rent on time for four consecutive years only a huge rent increase because your paying low income.

Dodged a bullet
There were so many red flags before we ever got to signing. We were approved and then it all started. The first time my husband looked at the renovated house. That evening Kaleah messages me and said they rented it out. Said there was a cheaper one available. I went ahead and applied and paid $175 for application fees and holding. (He was told the hold fee was only $75 but it was actually $100.) It stayed on the website that if we backed out within 2 weeks we could get it back. (Bad on my part... for not taking a picture of it for proof.) I asked to look at it. Stated there was not one to look at atm. I asked for at least pictures since they do not have anything but renovated ones online. Se sent me some and my husband went again and looked at one. He told me that it wasn’t what she sent and the house was not up to par whatsoever. So then I messaged her back and asked to go look at it. She told me that there wasn’t anything available to look at. That it needed to be painted and cleaned. Literally not even a couple hours after he just looked at it. She told me to call the office. It was after 5pm at that point so I was going to wait until the next day, Tuesday. Then she told me that, I’m assuming Connie, wasn’t going to be back in office until Wednesday. So I got my husband to call and he couldn’t get ahold of anyone. She was denying to tell me anything but she is the front office rep?.. Now she is telling me that my $100 holding fee is not refundable and that it is company policy. Thankfully I am not hurting on money and there’s nothing I can do about it at this point. I just know not to do anything until I see the exact place in person before doing anything. I see this as us missing out on a lot of stress bc of the reviews and what we had already went through and never even signed.

READ THE INVISIBLE FINE PRINT
My family was set to move into one of the properties right around this Christmas but our car completely broke down without warning and we were unfortunately not going to be able to make the move. We had not signed any lease agreement, we only filled out an application. We got approved for the house and we went ahead and paid the deposit but again no lease agreement was ever signed. The house that we were set to move in to isn't even vacated or cleaned up yet, the woman isn't out until Dec 7th... 2017. I called to inform Connie that there was nothing that we can do right now because of the Holidays we couldn't get the car fixed or replaced that fast. Basically she said "oh well" and even though she said that she was sorry for us (no she wasn't, I could her it in her voice) there was nothing that she could do, we will lose our $400.00 no matter what "AGAIN NO LEASE WAS SIGNED". She said that it is written into the application, I hate to call anyone a liar but I went over that application "thoroughly" and it doesn't say that the deposit would be forfeit anywhere, but whatever Connie good for you, way to make buck. She said that they had removed that property from the their available listings, which I find interesting seeing how the woman that lives there isn't even out of the property yet. The woman that lives there is being evicted, so that house wasn't even expected to be put on any listing. My advice to all of you is make sure that nothing goes wrong in your life after you have paid the deposit, do not pay the deposit until you move in because you absolutely won't get it back if anything goes wrong. Happy Christmas Connie and West Towne Cottages, you made 400$ that you absolutely didn't earn and you screwed a hard working family out of money that we could have used to get our car fixed and then we still would have still moved in as soon as possible. You are disgusting, fake people and should be ashamed of yourself.
