I used to love this as my home! Sadly, Not anymore. Run, don’t walk! This place has really gone downhill!
Air conditioners are 30-40 years old and hardly keep up, costing extra electricity every month. I can never get my apartment cool, and the office just responds that it’s hot outside. Duh! (It’s hot over at my sisters apartment as well, but I freeze when I go there!)
I feel very unsafe coming home to groups of people loitering on the steps and outside, loud conversations and... they barely move when I try to get by. The loud music is so disruptive! Also, almost everyday around 5:30 AM and sometimes around 10PM there’s a car outside beeping continuously. I’m sure it’s a tenant getting a ride to work, but it’s just so rude in a Community setting.
The newest management has brought in doggie stations, new washers/dryers, new signs, and are going to fix the parking lot soon. That is nice, but Why not focus on the junk ac units, the rubbish dishwashers, the filthy hall areas and questionable tenants they rent to. Also, the cooking smells are really bad from the other apartments in my building. It’s absolutely nauseating having to smell weird odors coming up through common vent system in my apartment. They should address this problem in addition to all the other issues. This has been going on for such a long time, so their excuse that they haven’t have the opportunity to get to these problems, is not a valid argument.
So, since this property has gone downhill over the past few years, if I were you, I’d look elsewhere. I’m so disappointed in this rapid decline. I’ve lived here for a number of years, so I’ve experienced everything I’ve mentioned here. I will not stay here past the end of my lease. I’m done.

WOULD NEVER LIVE HERE
I called to request a tour of this apartment. I was told that in order to see the apartment IN PERSON, I would have to apply and put down a $200 deposit. This is to just SEE the apartment for a tour! I was told to look online to see it, and if I provide the $200 and tour it and don't like it, a refund would only be processed based on WHY I don't like the apartment in person. This is RIDICULOUS and an absolute scam to get $200 out of people. Nobody should have to PAY to just look at an apartment... in person with the threat that the deposit may not even be refunded. Shame on this place for this policy. I will never consider these apartments under any circumstances. If this is how they handle simply touring their apartment complex, imagine the problems when you LIVE THERE!

Best Apartment Ever
I moved here from out of town and stayed only 10 months due to a job transfer and I couldn’t tell you enough about how this is one of the best apartments I’ve ever rented in my life. Management is superior, the grounds are always kept clean, the community is quiet and the tenants are as well. The only downside to living here was the building door not being locked allowing anyone access inside and the high light bill that I was receiving other than that I’d never ever rent from someone other than... Pheasant Run great place overall

Pheasant Run Apartments
Awesome quiet location. Under new management and having a dessert social to introduce them. Also going to have tenant activities. Clean, great size, awesome storage. Amazing first place! Pool and clubhouse. Cats welcome. Security patrols twice a night. Never loud music, and friendly staff!! Also a lot of parking options. Again very clean and quiet!! Management is quick to respond to any needs. I would highly recommend these apartments!!!!

Apartment Complex or Resort?!
I've been living at Pheasant Run Apartments for three years. I love it here! The grounds are beautiful. When I first moved here I kept thinking I was at a resort and would be going home next week. We have a pool, tennis court, basketball court, children's play area and a walking trail. The staff are friendly and make you feel like family. Maintenance staff are always efficient and polite. Now if they woul only make my bed and change my towels every day it would be perfect!
