I really enjoy living at 868 North Wells. The building is brand new and very beautiful. I live on a higher floor facing the lake, and the view of the Gold Coast is stunning. The neighborhood is great- close to River North, Gold Coast and Old Town. The rooftop pool is incredible, and the shared working stations on the 26th floor are very handy. The front desk and maintenance teams are fantastic, always very friendly and responsive. I would say there are only a few minor things that could be... improved: 1) the air conditioning / heating system isn’t centralized so it’s a bit loud, especially at night when it comes on while you’re sleeping. 2) Sometimes the wind can get quite noisy in my corner unit. 3) It will be great once the grocery store is finished in our sister building, in case we need to go out and grab something quickly. Overall, I really love living here.
