If you want to know what your life will be like moving into 2500 N Clybourn please watch the movie money pit. The leasing office promises the moon, but sadly they don't deliver. The leasing team is like the island of misfit toys. No one ever signs their name to the email so you don't know who you are emailing with. The maintenance team doesn't know how to fix anything and you have to beg for things to attempt to be fixed in the first place. I would check all the doors and locks before signing a... lease. I would also check to make sure you don't have any plumbing issues. My advice would be run for the hills.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND LIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!
My husband and I have put in our notice to vacate after just THREE -FOUR MONTHS living here. While the apartment maybe nicely set up with space, the skeleton/foundation of the building is absolutely HORRIBLE! Unfortunately, I agree with the August 2023 poster, maintenance will come to fix things, but it never gets truly resolved. A few examples include our shower getting backed up twice that a plumber needs to come in to fix it, and is unable to tell us why it’s happening. The first time it... backed up, we were without a shower for 60 hours (yes we started counting). Our ceiling has leaked that we once again called the maintenance. We've also heard from neighbors about the same issue. We also found out that they had to caulk the 4th floor for it. We’ve also had to put in multiple maintenance requests for other issues, including but not limited to: leaky dishwasher, electrical sockets not working, etc. As for the security of the building, once again, I agree with the August 2023 poster about the locks on the access doors that you have to jiggle your key. I also agree with the August 2023 poster that packages definitely get stolen here! I took a picture of my package from UPS showing that it was delivered into the building. I brought it to their attention, and was told that a new amazon locker and mural design on the front entry door would be done in the next month or so. Not only is there no mural design on the front entry door, their “new amazon locker” is a closet metal wire storage rack that you can get for around $40 at Amazon!! They simply placed packages on it, and moved it slightly out of the way!!! Plus, on our ring doorbell we’ve seen a man who we don’t recognize from our floor, walking past it in the early morning (like after midnight early morning). We put in a request to Chicago 311 (along with our plumbing problem)because one of the stairway access doors to the garage was constantly jammed, without resolution from maintenance. Currently, it remains propped open. As for the surrounding area, while this apartment may be within walking distance to the shopping center, you’re encountering homeless people who camp under that bridge, and will start trying to talk to you. Overall, it has been a terrible experience living here, and we’re counting the days down till we get out!! Honestly, there are other apartment buildings with MUCH BETTER quality for the same exact price they’re charging, if not less!! The nice space hasn’t been worth it!!

Don’t recommend
Units are good so far as space. You can definitely hear neighbors and the building is not truly secure. Packages stolen because they’re just thrown on the floor right inside the door and anybody walking by can break in-which did happen. Maintenance attempts to fix things but most don’t know what they’re doing. Management is pretty nice but issues don’t really get resolved.Like cmon-locks on access doors can’t be fixed for two years??!! And the elevator is another story-that thing moves as slow... as ever….

Leasing team is knowledgeable and kind, John who is the admin was so helpful in setting up an apt with such short notice. I met with the leasing agent Jacky who was GREAT, just a wonderful experience! Great place to call home!
