Nice place to live but there is one major issue. You are forced to pay 65$ a month for absolutely terrible internet. There is obvious price gouging going on since the complex has a contract with ATT. For 65$ a month you get 25mb/s ATT DSL. However, your actual download speed maxes out at 3mb/s (tested with wired gigabit connection/multiple different servers). I honestly did not know these prices/speeds still existed. It may of been acceptable in 2005 but apparently ATT knows you are forced to... pay them so they have the audacity the charge 65$ for terrible service. If you need to download anything such as an update for an app on your phone, all other devices using the internet will become useless. Unless you live alone and don't need to use more than one internet connected device you will be extremely frustrated with the internet.

One Year of Terrible Experiences
I lived in Bristol Club Apartment Complex for one year and had a terrible experience with move-in, issues with the apartment while living there, parking and ice in winter, and move-out.
Moving in they told us one week before we moved in that our apartment wasn't ready. With no where else to move, we had to move in our things to an in-renovation apartment that had no sink, counter, and was very dirty. Once they finished, a week after we were supposed to move in, they did not clean up at all.... When we called to ask if they could have a cleaner come, they acted as if we were asking a huge favor rather than a simple request from any well-managed apartment. They told us because of all of these inconveniences we would not have to pay for our first month of rent, but that did not happen and they tried to charge us additional fees that we had to argue to remove.
The apartment looked great (we had a newly renovated one) but was falling apart. All closet doors came off the hinges when opened and maintenance was never able to fix. Our kitchen light came out of the roof and was hanging by one cord - creating a dangerous situation for both ourselves as tenants and our pet. They took over 3 days to fix this. The washer/dryer was too large for the closet they put it in so that door could never be shut. The patio door was so dirty that we could barely open/close it and this was never fixed even after opening tickets with maintenance.
When moving out, our lease end date was somehow moved a week out from when we moved in, making us having to pay for an additional week's rent. I moved out in May of 2018 but they are just now contacting me about outstanding charges and lied about contacting another tenant already. They charged us a $20 cleaning fee for forgetting a few things in the refrigerator.
Other things to note: although close to the train stop the one light takes forever and doubles your driving time, management was rude and not friendly even when just picking up packages, it is a very confusing complex for delivery and/or ride share applications to find you, finding a parking spot in the winter time when they close entire portions of the lot is very difficult, and they did not salt the sidewalks in the winter creating a very dangerous and icy path that I witnesses multiple tenants falling on.

The best so far
I've lived here for almost 6 years and still enjoy it. The location can't be beat in the Western Suburbs - right where I88, I355 meet, walking distance to retail, short drives or medium walk to the Metra, and short drive to Naperville or Oak Brook, which has anything the city has, including beach. The staff is nice & not too stuffy, the amenities and property well kept. Rent has increased over the last few years, but I suppose that's to be expected. Seasonal maintenance is well done &... maintenance staff on-site every day. The best choice for this area.

Amazing!
Being new to the Chicago area, I wanted an apartment that was convenient, relatively inexpensive, but had many amenities. Bristol Club nailed it. Being located right off of I-355 is super convenient! But it's also a quick 10 minute drive to the grocery store, many chain and non-chain restaurants, and shopping plazas. No matter what way you drive, you are about 2 miles from any store. The staff is super nice and makes the whole move in process super easy. They let you know weeks before you move... in how much you are expected to pay, which is nice because there are no hidden fees. The common areas are very well kept, and the staff is super helpful. The pool is fairly large with many lounge chairs! I've only lived at Bristol Club for a month now, but there are people on the property that have lived here for 29 years! It's such a great community thats decently priced!

I will happily renew my lease -and into a larger model when one becomes available! The new Property manager has created a warmer environment, and added class. The maintenance staff are good-natured and proactive. The property's landscape brightens my morning walks. I recommend Bristol Club for these reasons.
