Hardwood floors, ceiling fans in all the main rooms, little touches such as new sconces and a built-in book shelf. These are just a few of the amenities with this apartment. It's affordable for the area and a 5 minute drive to Downtown Oak Park (or 15 min. walk). Unfortunately, vintage also means a very worn building that needs more maintenance and upkeep. The location of your bedroom right next to the alley can get noisy in the mornings. And you will care about the creaky hardwood floors if... you don't live on the top floor. There are no common areas but the courtyard is well maintained and has a laundry room. Oh, and you better like dogs because there are plenty of them!
