The farmhouse is a quiet alternative to crowded undergrad campus life designed specifically to create a community for graduate students and post-docs. It is not on a bus line, so you must have a car to consider. We currently have 3 veterinary students and 3 from other departments. We have been housing U of I graduate students, veterinary students and post-docs for over 35 years. The house has outdoor dining on the wrap-around front porch and a newly updated kitchen (your bedroom is the only unfurnished space in the house). Located on Race Street near the U of I South Farms on the south edge of Urbana. Even though you can see the Assembly Hall on Campus from your porch, all you'll hear are the peaceful sounds of nature. No Smoking/No pets.
