This complex is horrible. The management is horrible. I have not had heat for over a month now and was told my the property manager that it was safe to leave space heaters running all the time. I didn't do this but even just having them running during the evening has lead to an electrical issue. I feel very unsafe here, I constantly have random people at my door who I do not know and cars are always being broken into. The manager is rude and condescending. I can not wait for my lease to be up. I... will never rent another property from Post Road Management or rent from this manager again. Completely disappointed and unsatisfied. They need to be shut down because of the shady work they do here.

Hello Lindsay, Thank you for your review. to be clear I advised you that the space heaters are safe due to a safety feature they have where if tilted they turned off, since you expressed you were worried your cat would knock one over and start a fire... , so you just didn't use them at all. It is an unfortunate event that has taken place with your heater that was build in 1969 and well over 54 years old, but we have been working hard to get this resolved. We have also finished our security cameras being installed, and although you find cars being broken into in any community, we hope this will deter future ones from happening. We Wish you the best on your future endeavors. please notify the office of your Notice to Vacate.

I love it here!
Moved in the beginning of this month and I love it so far! Everything is updated, new, and was very clean. The apartment is very open and very big! It is so close to so many things and a mile from Kellogg. I feel very safe here. Manager is very welcoming and ready to help!

Would not recommend
We had quite a bad experience here. Our ceiling fell in on us because of a leak that was ignored when we reported it. Our shower faucet fell off multiple times. A/C did not work the entire summer and management just ignored it because they did not want to pay to fix it. A good portion of the deposit was kept to clean the carpets which was supposed to be done by management for us because of the ceiling falling in and soaking our carpets with nasty water and old insulation. Car was broken into in... the parking lot. Just a bad experience overall.

It's our goal that we respond to our residents' needs to the best of our abilities, and in this case, we fell short. After doing some research, we did... compensate you for the leak and all repairs were done promptly. Nonetheless, the property is going through some changes with newer upgrades and capital improvements. We appreciate your feedback and will work harder at continued improvements on the property as well as resident satisfaction.

Needs work
Tried contacting them over 5 times and no answer. The leasing office is never open, no call backs at all. I really liked this place but it’s very unfortunate that it didn’t work out.

Not worth it
It changed after Key Management took over, it sucks! No grill for 2 or 3 months now. They always promise stuff, but do not do it. The new lady in the office is not there the most of the time. Rent went up for $30 a month even though everything is the same. Not worth your money.

When Key Management took over the management of Stratford East in January 2018, the property was intended to be sold for demolition, instead, the new owner wanted to buy it and restore the community to its former glory. We have found a lot of... 'hidden' issues with the community that needed to be taken care of immediately, including the grills which were rotten and a public health hazard, which we have removed and are in the process of replacing as soon as we can. Just in the first 90 days, we have had numerous staffing, communication, and other operational issues that have been nothing short of challenging as a result of years of neglect. Nonetheless, we have already made some very positive changes with many more to come. The owners and Key Management have big plans moving forward to improve the property such as remodeling units, new paint, new parking lot, and much more. We are excited about the property and for its residents for what the future holds.
