It was fine until I had to move out due to military orders.
Pros - Garden Tub, W/D in unit, Wood Floors (except bedroom), decent rent, maintenance requests get completed in a timely manner, and quiet area even with construction going on
Cons - If you're military then you are prone to orders so breaking your lease with this complex isn't a good idea. I got orders about 60 days out and I left at the beginning of the month but had to pay rent for that whole month even though my orders said I would report to my new location on the 20th so no pro-rate for... me b/c I couldn't get a forwarding address for the vacant notice the 30 days before. More than 3 weeks since I vacated and no update on if I even get some of my security deposit back b/c they have yet to do an additional inspection after move out.
Pest Control comes monthly but you still have to monitor spider webs by the majority of your entrances and windows.
Traffic - It's manageable but .... definitely avoid commuting from 7:30-8:15 am and 3:15-4:30 since the school next door brings that traffic in with some of the crazy drivers.

Two Bedroom, Two Bathroom appartment review
I moved in about a month ago, I haven't had any problems. The bottom floor appartments have nice hardwood floor, the upper floor versions have carpet (still very nice) and the appliances are all up to date. We have plenty of room on the inside and they keep on top of cleaning the outside very well. The people in my building are fairly friendly and I know several people from my work who have moved here/are moving here. Not a bad place over all.
Pros: very nice, modern, decent price (I have a... room mate and so split rent), friendly people in the front office (Margueritte is nice), the little gym is a nice area for a quick workout, and the pool is a great place to grill and read books while sun tanning
Cons: some little things that come with being on the bottom floor such as spiders like to sneak in occasionally but they do schedule exterminators twice a month (one for inside one for outside), and the pool sometimes isn't as clean as you would like (But telling the office people sometimes gets that remedied).

Love the amenities
Great location in Shreveport that is close to the river. If you are active there is a jogging park close by. Less than 5 minute drive time to Grocery store and some eating places. There are a few negatives. There needs to be more parking spots (although there are covered parking and garages available for extra). Traffic during school times makes it difficult but if you can avoid those hours not much of a problem.

Okay, but glad I'm moving!
I have been in these apartments for about 10 months. Moved in during the fall time so the weather was nice and there weren't a lot of pests. Like most apartments the quality isn't that good but it's better than most. The facilities are okay nothing to write home about, there is only one small pool that does get crowded and it's only 5ft deep. Pretty disappointing. It is really quiet here which is nice, and it's in a good location. However, when school is in session getting out of the apartments... at 8AM is absolutely ridiculous. The line of cars is backed up to the entrance on the main drag and stopped. So it might be close to work but you will still need to leave 10 minutes earlier than usual just to get through the traffic. It's due to the fact that Magnolia is right down the road. But none of that bothers me too much. I am glad that I am moving out because the upkeep of the outside of our building (the stairwell areas) is just a disgrace. The staff and maintenance seem to care more about the exterior view, as long as that is clean then I guess leaving the stairwells a horrendous wreck is okay because passerby's can't see. The stairwells are COVERED in spiderwebs, and I mean covered to the point I have to dodge them or else risk sticking my foot in one and I can't even use the rail because they are all over that as well! I can deal with bugs but that is ridiculous. I used to work for a property management company and the management of this property needs some help. They should be walking the property every day taking note of what needs to be cleaned or fixed. The management has left notes on our doors and still the spiderwebs have not been cleared out, even though it is obvious they had to have seen them. It is just a lack of not caring. So overall they are okay, but I wouldn't move back. I would find some that are more reasonably priced.
