Do not move here. They lie about cleaning your carpet and painting just so you can renew your lease. Been here a few years and have never had my carpet cleaned. Every time I call I get the run around. They set a date, but never come. They line to leave notices on your door, but can't come and do what they suppose to in your apartment. Also they have that water and sewer is included in the rent,but thats a lie. They now charge for water. The bill started off at $30. Noe its almost at $50 a month.... Which is ridiculous because there are no meters for them to read. They charge what they want. Don't move back here. They just want to collect money

I am currently a resident in Tanglewood Apartment. The management is rude and horrible in particular "Janice" and when you ask for corporate number she don't know it or give you the wrong number! Wish I could have given them a negative star.

BEWARE
If I could rate Tanglewood 0 starts, I WOULD. I moved out June 1, 2018 even though my lease wasn’t up until July 31, 2018. So I paid the rest of the two months that I had left, to save myself from any problems. I was told that since I paid the rent for those two months, that the apartment is still mine and nobody can enter the apartment. So we kept a couple things in there while we took our time moving into our new home. June 15, 2018, I get a call from one of the incredibly rude clerks, “Kathy”... about how maintenance had to enter the apartment due to a foul smell coming from it. This was okay because I had forgotten that I left a couple food items in the refrigerator and the lights were turned out. She then asked, “Well are you coming back to get your stuff?” I informed her that I was, and that I had until July 31. The next day, I go to the apartment to grab a couple things, and my laptop was GONE. Nobody has access to the apartment except the maintenance workers and I. I called the front office and Kathy answered. I asked to speak to a manager and she transferred me to some number. I was sent to voicemail. This happened MULTIPLE times. Either they send me to a number where no one answers, or they just don’t answer the phone at all! I’m highly disappointed and will get the police involved. The maintenance workers are rude and now, thieves. It also took them 3 days to fix my air one time when the air went out. STAY AWAY FROM TANGLEWOOD!!!!!!!

I have to say these are the worst apartments I have ever lived in period... I regret leaving my other apartment the 1100 rent I was paying is worth it compared to Tanglewood apartments

Be mindful
Starting with my move in date,the woman in the office and I came to an agreement that 12pm would be a good time for me to move in however at 11am,the day of, i received a phone call saying that I would have to push back my move in date because no one was in the office and no one was aware that I was moving in. After moving in, I received another phone call that was neighbor downstairs was complaining that she heard alot of moving, which is only logic being that i was just moving in, and I was... told the next time westwego police would be called and that I should do my chores early in the day to not disturb her. She went on telling me how my neighbor has been there for years, works two jobs, and always pays her rent on time, and they wanted to keep her happy, as if she was more concerned with her than me. Lastly, two months after moving in I had a letter on my door about a 75 parking permit that no one ever mentioned prior to moving in. Now my car is in the shop and my insurance company provided me with a rental, and the licence plate clearly say commercial, that was towed because it didn't have a parking permit. I went into the office to speak with them and they told me there was nothing they could do and that I shouldn't have partked on the property. It's only been three months, and I'm breaking my lease. They seem all good, until you move in.
