We are so please with everything Halstead community home offer the best quality of a very luxury apartment complex. Everything is beyond perfect here. The location is convenient, the brand new fitness state of the art gym, the best school system, the good town. The management is rank the top because they care and deliver the very best service always!! I can never Replace Halstead with any other apartment ??

The best location and school System is the best for your children. Everything you ever need is close by good location. Safe.beautiful community. The management is absolutely the BEST Management that cares and delivers. I live here for 15 years and I love it here. Me and my children dream Came true here

Leaves much to be desired
Based on the responses to other negative responses, I'm sure the management will responds this my review in a similar untruthful and inaccurate manner. But I'm posting anyway...
Ownership changes very frequently, which leads to continual policy changes and rent increases. Rents increase significantly every year.
Poor response & problem resolution by the Facility Management - lip service with no action. Examples include the very new (couple months old) gym where the wi-fi signal is so poor... it's useless, some equipment hasn't been setup (1 stationary bike still zip-tied by.the mfr) or hasn't been setup properly, TV screen has been broken since the opening (see photo), garage parking rules aren't enforced (illegal parking - cars w/out permits which cost $125/mo, people smoking). Rent increases significantly every year. The 1st Fl trash room is often so full that the door won't open completely. The garage trash bins are often overloaded. Each bldg has 2 elevators but 1 often doesn't work resulting in long waits for the elevator.
The Maintenance crew led by Fredy is great !!! Very personable, friendly, and professional. Great response time & effective problem resolution.
The cleaning crew also work very hard and do a great job to keep the facility as clean as possible - they can't do anything about the extremely stained carpeting throughout many of the hallways (particularly on the lower floors).

Pedro, The issue with the wifi in the new gym has been resolved. Because of the way the building is constructed (concrete) it was a difficult problem to solve. We tried several different types of wifi boosters until we found something that would... solve the issue. The TV screen was damaged by a resident and has been replaced. This took time as our vendor was delayed. We have increased our pick up days for trash removal to help alleviate the build up that occurs over the weekends. Much of the issue is the result of boxes not being broken down properly or residents leaving behind large furniture and debris when moving out. Our cleaning staff empties the trash barrels in the garage every day as part of their normal routine. We do address issues of cars parking in the wrong spaces and will continue to monitor that issue when is occurs. On occasion we have issues with the elevators. We have a great elevator company that responds in a timely manner whenever something occurs. The elevators have been completely inoperable.
